I want to get into cpa and I know I'll need fast page loads.
What is the hosting I'd need for this?

I have a blog on hostgator that I've actually clicked away from
because it's taking too long to load!

Since I'm starting fresh I'd like to get some recommendations.

storm on demand or beyond hosting are good options, beyond hosting is more for affiliates as they know about propser, cpv lab and imobi trax

    Thanks myron92.

I have some of my other websites on HostGator. Should I be concerned?

    Here are tips for you....
Case1: You are just starting out and on shared hosting.. follow these things
    1. Install high performing theme, with good coding and fast loading
    2. keep your plugins bare minimum (plugins are resource intensive)
    3. use cache plugins to faster response
    4. use CDN to super charge your site with
    5. minimize your scripts and images

Case2: You are advanced user and getting lots of traffic

    1. move to cloud hosting or dedicated hosting
    2. use server side caching at root level
    3. add CDN to boost up more performance

These are simple tips, but there are more techniques to speed up your site performance....

no you could just upgrade your servers in host gator, it all depends how much traffic you are driving a day, you could always move your sites over to your new hosting if you wanted to change your hosting

Wouldn't really matter if upgraded or not since HostGator servers are overcrowded.
