This is a review of the VSL that David Garfinkel produce for me, I worked
with him for 5 months on it. These are my honest opinions on the VSL, and
as such should not be mistaken as facts.

The good:

The use of emotive language was utilized well in the VSL, it was
effective in driving home the realities of their situation, the use of
graphic images would have been very effective as well.

The proof points were strong. The VSL cited a number of clinical
trials that support the claims made in the ebook.

It is very common in this niche to frame a conspiracy that is against
the prospect, this is done very well in the VSL and is backed up by
relevant sources.

The references for the VSL are extensive and thorough.

The bad:

There didn’t seem to be any angle to the whole VSL. Every single
successful offer on the market in this niche constructs their argument
by pointing out the underlying cause of the condition, then offers a solution
to that problem in the form of the product. The VSL did not do this. It
seemed to be out of focus, and didn't have a concise message to convey.

Overall thoughts

Overall the VSL is very boring, long winded, conservative, had way too
many ideas/concepts, was too complex, isn’t strong enough, didn't have
any clear direction and didn't follow the format of the current winners. It
fundamentally fails to persuade the prospect to take action.

Note: Because this isn't a normal review of a product, I submitted this to
support before posting here, they gave me the go ahead to post it as it is.

Would you care to share the product that was being promoted?

    Did you test the offer?

    What was the traffic source?

Did you run similar traffic to the VSL as competitors in the market place?

It is one thing to create a product and then an appropriate funnel and then to send the right traffic to it.

I'd be interested in some more details to help others and you find out where the system was broken.

There are so many variables and without extra input it is hard to judge whether the VSL is the issue or some other aspect.

It would be great to see the sales page and the order page because you may get some assistance from others if you do this

Then aren't you equally responsible for how it turned out?

You say "framing a conspiracy" was done well but then say "there didn't seem to be an angle". Seems like a contradiction.

If none of the sales pages written - either by you or written for you - converted well and if affiliates are not promoting....perhaps the basic problem is lack of demand for the product. I think it's something you should consider in your evaluation.

It's good you asked for approval to post this 'review' but admit I'm surprised it was permitted.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.
