Hostbudget: 24 hours support?

Imagine that you have a site with thousands visitants per day and many sales per day, and occurs bandwidth exceed, so when you contact the hosting to a upgrade in the commercial hour, they answer you that they just can solve the problem in the next day.

And what is the problem? The problem is that you contact the guys in the morning and just have your answer in the next day, and your site will continue offline, a site that sells around $300 per day. You can do backups, the support doesnt provide additional quota, so you just will lose money.

Small hostings always can be a problem, I have this problem with the hosting company HOSTBUDGET, that promisses 24 hour support as you can see in this image: http://i.imgur.com/8tcbVqK.png

So if you have a site with many visitants, stay away from this company.

    Did you buy their smallest plan because all but the smallest has "unlimited" bandwidth from what I see and this shouldn't have been problem.

      yeah, I made this site 10 months ago, I didnt expect so large increase in the SEO traffic and in the sales.

      but when I contacted the hosting company, trying a update they told me that I have to wait until tomorrow because there´s no one from sales department to attend me.

      After that I asked what time was in their location, he answered 6 pm, and I opened the ticket and started the chat since 5 pm, minutes after he answered me that sales department worked in 9 am to 6 pm.

      The uptime of this hosting is excellent, just the problem of the support. I even couldnt login in my cpanel, occured the same "bandwidth exceed", so I logged with the ip server address, like http://serverip/cpanel, and get a backup of my site and changed the hosting.

        I don't know anything about this host - they may be great or they may suck. But I don't think your review is fair.

        Sales is normally not handled by support. I can see, in a case like yours, where that would be helpful but at most hosts this is two different departments.

        Also if you were already selling
        around $300 per day
        you should have had the funds to upgrade. And unless the success was immediate - no traffic at all for months and then one day you sell $300 - you probably had plenty of time to upgrade and plan ahead. You make it sound like there was a lot of visitors and a lot of sales over a period of time when you say this

        And another thing, tickets take time to be processed. Sales isn't normally an emergency. Even support, at some hosts, takes an hour to get back to you. So for them to close at 6:00 and people go home but your complaint is you submitted the ticket at 5:00 is also a little unfair. Also it appears that they have a telephone number for sales so you could have called them which may have gotten quicker results.

        Like I said - I don't know these people. But I know an unfair review when I see it and I just happened to come across yours.

        If you want to do what's right, you'll delete your post and learn your lesson by planning ahead, buying the hosting you need, etc.

    I´m think its a fair post, I just hire hosts that provides chat support and claims "24 hours support", I tried for 4 hours to solve my problems with this hosting, by telephone, chat and ticket.

    As last try I asked for a backup, because I even cant access my cpanel, as you can see in the images I received a "I cant do nothing for you" as answer. So, I had to look for the information that I can access my cpanel even with "bandwidth exceed" if I try to access the cpanel with the name of the server.

    Another thing, this upgrade would to be hired by me in the client area, not contacting a member of the sales team, many hostings working by this way.

    Hello,
    I apologize any inconvenience caused. It usually takes 1-6 hours for resolving a billing ticket. Live chat operators only provide technical support and they do not handle billing requests such as upgrades.

    Some issues (such as billing related) take longer than others to resolve.

    Probably you should look for a better try Rshosting
    They are pretty old player in web hosting industry with one of the best support. I have been using them for more than 5 years now.
