Internet Explorer 8 disconnects my Norton Phishing Protection .. Anyone have this problem?

Hi,
Internet Explorer 8 disconnects my Norton Phishing Protection each time I use it.

Anyone have a solution?

I've had many headaches with the upgrade, but after much research discovered the system was not compatible with my hp smart web printer. Now they have an update, but it's not compatible with firefox. You will have to do a search on goggle for your operating system, being specific about if you are using windows xp or vista. I know that is not much help, but the problems being experienced vary from system to system.

One thought, this could be a result of your security settings, if so that might have to be changed. I would not advice doing that until you do a search relating to ie8 and problems with Norton. You might need the security update for ie8 if that has been upgraded.

Sorry I could not give you an exact answer, but technical problems are to varied with each operating system.

You can also get rid of Norton.

I use eset and have no problems with IE 8 at all.

They work great together.

just get rid of IE and use FireFox or Safari
