Default aMember Pro vs. DLGuard/idevaffiliate

Warriors,

How would these compare? Is aMember Pro as easy as DLGuard, in terms of simply pasting a php snippet to protect pages? How do the affiliate features compare between aMember and idevaffiliate?

I'm also interested in Wishlist Member, but as far as I know, you have to use a third party (like Clickbank) for the affiliate capability.

I'd appreciate any feedback or suggestions or recommendations.

I've only used DLGuard to protect my pages/sites. I considered all the main options, especially AMember, but I went with DLGuard because it was the simplest. And it does everything I need, so I'll probably continue to use it on all future sites.

AMember is more sophisticated, so it might be better in more complex circumstances.

Thanks for your interest in DLGuard, QKZ!

And I'm glad you're enjoying it, Alex

Just a quick note about DLGuard's simplicity for it's memberships - with the simplicity, it also brings a lot more power and flexability.

I'm not sure if Amember does this, but I don't think they do (someone please correct me if they do!):

For people who are looking to do some tricky stuff inside their membership area, DLGuard makes customer information available via PHP variables. For developers, this makes life MUCH easier, as you can use the member info to do database lookups, display customer specific information, and even create online services.

cheers
Sam
