Best Affiliate Tracking Solution

My partner and I are looking into all of the affiliate networks out there and are looking for some feedback from those of you who may have been down this path already.

You have options like ClickBank and JvZoo which seem to have large networks, handle the payments, taxes, reporting...etc. But charge quite a bit of money to handle all of this for you.

Then you have solutions like Voluum, Tapfiliate and others who provide software for you to quickly setup, manage and track affiliates and campaigns on your own.

I know that Jvzoo and CB have huge networks of people already signed up and looking to promote but realistically is it worth the cost?

We have a decent number of users of our software emailing us and asking us for an affiliate program and we plan to market the affiliate program ourselves to further expand our list. I am sure we will have to manage some of the payments and possibly taxes with the solutions above. So if you have experience, please share anything we are missing and the pros and cons of each.

    Check out Zaxaa: https://www.zaxaa.com/

Pay the $500 per year or monthly option. There's no extra fees.

They take care of absolutely everything, all you need to do is slap a buy now button on your site. (It's similar to JVZoo).

They also handle payments via Stripe so you can have a proper credit card processor in addition to PayPal.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess I am just concerned about taxes and 1099's when using these other affiliate tracking software programs. Any program I have signed up for, they send you a 1099 and track all of the affiliate payments for tax reporting. Being we do business all over the world, I am not sure how to go about this.
I have also read about fraud with these types of software programs. If you're paying out commissions on payments that were fraudulent, this could get messy. Which why a lot of them don't pay out commissions for like 60 days I guess?

I give my vote to Clickbank. My second would be JVzoo, and my third would be Paydotcom (because of their new required option called "PayPeopleOnline".) This will make your taxes a piece of cake. You should watch the video behind PayPeopleOnline. Alot to learn from it.

Yes I remember seeing this website but all of the videos are down which lead me to believe that the site was dying off. Overall I get that impression from a lot of the affiliate tracking software out there. It's almost like they never caught much traction (possibly because of these tax issues) and most of the websites are dated and and don't look to be kept up.

I am only aware of the 1099 for US affiliates that make over $600 in a calendar year but there may also be some additional issues I am not aware of for international.

It seems like you either take the risk or pay the fees and go with ClickBank.
