Where can I buy the cheapest domain names?

I need to buy a few domain names for redirecting, and since i'm buying a lot of them, i'd prefer to pay the least I can. It doesn't really matter what kind of domains they are as long as I can forward them to something else.

cheapest domain ? hmm, GoDaddy, there is a coupon for $0.99 cent, and you can earn some rebate on it as well.

I usually register my domain at GoDaddy ( because they usually offer me the $0.99 cent + the cash back, but most likely i wouldn't renew the domain with them ( GoDaddy go crazy with renewal rate ), this when i move it to namecheap.

Majority of my domain after renewal are with them, they are a good company

I tried those coupons with Godaddy, but they tell me that I've used discount coupons too many times, and they no longer work for me anymore.

If you want low upfront costs godaddy is best. I personally have my names there now for the past 5 years.

I'm jumping on the Namecheap wagon also, it is my personal recommendation for anyone...

I left Godaddy a long time ago when a user of a domain I had hosted with them send out emails with links back to my domain and Godaddy charged me $250 to handle a complaint an email receiver filed with Godaddy... I didn't send the email in question, yet was held responsible by Godaddy for a 3rd party person sending out an email with a link to my site...

Godaddy is draconian in its policies...

    Go namecheap and be happy.

      WOW!

I'm really surprised no one mentioned the least expensive place on the web to purchase a domain...

NameSilo is less expensive and has equal to or better support than NameCheap.

      https://www.namesilo.com/

If you are only getting a domain for a year then letting it expire then as others have said, godaddy with a coupon or 1&1 with their regular specials of $0.99 for year one.

But after year one on all those discounts, NameSilo is where you want to be.

The best method is to purchase a discounted domain at 1&1 or godaddy and within a month or two, transfer it to NameSilo which will extend that year one into two years for the transfer fee of $8.69 or $8.99 I forget.

Plus there are coupons for NameSilo to make that transfer even less.

I moved all my domains from NameCheap to NameSilo a couple years ago and have saved hundreds in doing so.
