Don't Use Yahoo Gemini
This isn't a comment on their traffic quality, though, as I never actually got to that stage.
Nope, I wasn't that lucky.
First of all, they took about 24 hours to review my initial ads.
Much, much, much longer than bing/google/fb, but hey, I was a brand new customer and they need to take precautions against scammers and spammers, I get that.
But then my ads were all rejected, and the reasons were total bs.
I triple checked their policies, and my ads/landing pages all complied.
Okay, whatever.
I thought I'd reach out to support, and find out what was going on.
HAH.
It's been 3 days and I still haven't got an email back.
3. Days.
72 hours.
So I decided to create a few more ads, and again, they were all rejected for policy violations that hadn't actually occurred.
I finally managed to get one ad working, and with a 3% CTR and 9c CPC, I was pretty happy.
I'd almost managed to forgive Yahoo for their total lack of customer service/support, and their dodgy policy enforcement.
And then I log onto my account this morning, and as far as I can tell, my account has been suspended.
I can no longer create campaigns, edit my ads, or add keywords.
No email, no warning, nothing at all.
Not even a customer support number to call.
If anyone was considering giving them a shot, I would highly advise against it.
