Don't Use Yahoo Gemini

Honestly, I don't think I've ever used a service as bad as the one they offer.

This isn't a comment on their traffic quality, though, as I never actually got to that stage.

Nope, I wasn't that lucky.

First of all, they took about 24 hours to review my initial ads.

Much, much, much longer than bing/google/fb, but hey, I was a brand new customer and they need to take precautions against scammers and spammers, I get that.

But then my ads were all rejected, and the reasons were total bs.

I triple checked their policies, and my ads/landing pages all complied.

Okay, whatever.

I thought I'd reach out to support, and find out what was going on.

HAH.

It's been 3 days and I still haven't got an email back.

3. Days.

72 hours.

So I decided to create a few more ads, and again, they were all rejected for policy violations that hadn't actually occurred.

I finally managed to get one ad working, and with a 3% CTR and 9c CPC, I was pretty happy.

I'd almost managed to forgive Yahoo for their total lack of customer service/support, and their dodgy policy enforcement.

And then I log onto my account this morning, and as far as I can tell, my account has been suspended.

I can no longer create campaigns, edit my ads, or add keywords.

No email, no warning, nothing at all.

Not even a customer support number to call.

If anyone was considering giving them a shot, I would highly advise against it.

It sucks you had a terrible experience but this isn't good advice. Figure out what went wrong and get it fixed. Honestly it sounds like you're in a massive hurry and are not used to having to be patient with networks. Many smaller networks are like this. I'm not going to say what network (since I like them) but it once took me 2 weeks to get an ad running.

Then again, paid ads are not my primary income source, so if they're slow it doesn't bother me. I've got plenty of other things to do.

Similar experience here. IMHO you you will get much more from your time and money somewhere else. I have tried many PPC platforms trough the years, some with great success, others not so much and so far this is the WORST experience I have had in terms of submission, approval and customer service.

Bing Ads is slowly but surely heading to crapsville too, sorry to say. Get prepared.

The products, services and support by the biggest brands in the world more often than not suck bigtime.

I tried Yahoo Gemini few months ago, with no luck also. They said they are improving their platform, maybe will test it again in next several months.

I just decided to give Gemini another shot, sending 8c clicks to my latest videos on YouTube, and I'm pretty sure something fishy is going on.

It's been a few hours, and according to Gemini, they've sent 44 clicks (for a total of $3.11c).

The only problem is... I haven't actually received a single view on my YouTube video.

I've been watching my analytics in real-time, and I'm only getting views on my other videos, and not the video I've linked to with Gemini.

Anyone else experience this? I'm using Aus+NZ Native traffic on mobile+web, all ages, male and female.

I'll send a ticket in the morning when I wake up, but thought it was really weird.
