Which is better: instapage or leadpages?

I need to create some landing pages for a product to promote. But I'm in a dilemma, leadpages or instapage?

I used the 45 free days trial on instapage and I liked their drag and drop system, but their default templates are not what I'm looking for.

In the other hand, leadpages have the exact templates that I need, but I heard that their templates are not so customizable like instapage.

Also it's very important A/B tests for me, in this point which is better?

Other detail is that I need single optin for my email list, do you know if it works fine on leadpages?

Please share your opinions.

I wanted to use leadpages but for me is they so damn expensive (around 580$ a year). I look for mitspages.com which is a lot cheaper (29$/mo), But I also want to know some people experience using leadpages

Cleberl1 great question. (I work for LeadPages) so I'm a tad biased However, I would say that while you can't drag and drop elements on the page yet, the pages themselves are built with conversions in mind. We have some of the highest converting pages in the industry. Everything on the page is fully customizable. With our Pro edition you can easily split test different things on your pages. All pages are two step opt-ins as we've found them to increase conversions for our users. Right now you can get pro for $79/month or $577/year which breaks down to $49/month. Hope that helps my friend.

I have optimizepress here and I think it's the best for creating landing pages. But I need an efficient solution for A/B tests.

How good is A/B tests on leadpages? I also need to know if leadpages works using single optin with aweber?

Look to Thrive Content Builder which have 100+ pre made landing pages and it is easy to customize. Search on google. You never regret after purchase.

    Hello,
I understand the question, instapage or leadpages but, if your using WordPress you can use Instabuilder2.0 which has more options, custom templates, and drag and drop, and better editor, and once you buy, it's yours, never pay again. I use Instabuilder only and I can build any type of page you see anywhere, and also does split testing.

I checked instabuilder 2.0 and liked it, but their templates are not so good like the ones on leadpages or on optimizepress.

I'm disappointed because I already spent $97 on optimizepress and I only miss A/B tests function. I'm not willing to spend money again into something very similar of optimizepress.

            Hello,

Ok on Instabuilder 2.0 you can either use per made templates, or make one from scratch, you saw our sample, that was a custom build, not a template, and you can duplacate any landing page you see out there, just by doing a custom build, all sections of Instabuilder content, can be changed and moved around, the choices are endless, once you have experience. Hope this helps you, and it has 30 day return if you don't like it.

Also Leadpages does have nice templates, it just that we like to have are own hosting and be able to customize templates, so both are good products.

There is a lot to like about Leadpages, but I found their customisation ceiling a dealbreaker.

If you use a template of theirs which features one button above the fold, then you can only use one button. If you wanted to add in an extra section, well, you can't.

I think LP can be great for a lot of marketers, but tricker for those of us who want to use it in conjunction with bigger websites. I found Instapage better in that regard, but then I also thought it was too expensive for what it provided.

Somebody mentioned Thrive Themes, and you can get most of that functionality - and a lot more - for a much cheaper cost. I'm not shilling for them - I prefer Beaver Builder myself - but I'd take a look at Thrive as well as Instapage and LP.

I already have optimizepress and it's almost perfect, but it does not come with A/B, wich is super important for me.

I tested leadpages, for "free" purchasing a $1 theme, but it's not flexible as instapage and others. I get everyday more confused.

                ----------------------

I also notice that Instapage professional plan has an "template importer" featrure that as the name suggests let us upload any pre made template. Anyone knows if it works well?

Would be a good idea desing the page I want on optimzepress and upload on instapage, if possible.

Also anyone if instabuilder is being rencently updated? I took a look and it seems a bit abandoned....

I would try asking each company the questions you have. Who would know better if something would work or not.

I've tried both. Instapage is great for price and functionality. Lead pages seems to have a bit more as far as features and flexibility of what you can do. But that comes at a cost.

Recently I've signed up for Convert Kit. It's like an email list, email course, landing page, signup forms, etc. all in one. The landing pages are basic but a good start. And you get a good well rounded platform. They're pretty new so I'm sure they're going to grow their platform into something big in he years to come.
