Hi there i joined only wire about 4 months ago and paid for the service rather than take the free option. However I have spent the last 4 months writing back and forth because it is unclear how to use their product. The problems I experienced were rubbish customer service. half the time they don't even respond and when they do its 2 weeks later and a badly written message. The main problem was that it says that you have submitted to all these sites (about 40% said submit success) but when I checked on the individual sites there was nothing there? The remaining 60% come up as failed to submit - thats a pretty poor rate! ![]() They don't explain that you need to go to each site in the first place to open an account (I thought my bookmarks were getting submitted for ages) even though they have a multiple account and password creator which I thought opened all the accounts for you! 1) Anyway I am starting to believe that the whole system with only wire doesn't even work? Has anyone else had the same experiences? Does anyone know if it actually works? 2) Also what do people find are the best social bookmarking submitters? |

I'll admit I'm biased, but I like SocialBot. You can find plenty of reviews in this forum. You can get it for $12.95 by using the coupon code AWESOME (all caps). SocialBot V4.0 | Quickly Bookmark ALL Of Your Website's Pages Automatically (Without Doing It Page By Page) With SocialBot John |

I am biased too. I've just started using SocialBot and I am very happy with it. It's a great value at twice the regular price. The coupon code John gave you just sweetens the deal. All The Very Best, Tony |

I've used the free version of onlywire for sometime...you just have to have it placed on one of your sites to use the service. Seems to work for me but I will agree that on some of the sites I have setup the submission is not accepted occassionaly. Not sure if this is a problem with the sites or the onlywire service but it happens on the same sites over and over. Can't say it brings alot of traffic but I always include it in my overall SEO plan for each new site. For the price (FREE) I don't care as much |

submitting by hand is working out the best for me, it's a time consuming pain in the a** but it's working for me. I did buy socialbot, never got past the 'spider your entire site' but now tell it what you do NOT want spidered. I'll use it eventually. Socialposter and socialmarker it seems are having problems with the frames, I'm begining to think the social bookmarking sites that do not want their site overrun by those that do seo are adding "break out of the frame" scripts to defeat the automated services. did you know to tie keyword phrases together you need a + sign for technorati, an underscore for propeller... friend someone on propeller or contact them and you'll quickly loose your account. Some SB sites encourage (or even insist) "karma" or "mutual cooperation" others will cut you loose at the slightest hint of SEO I too have seen links I know I posted, not visible when viewed from my interns computers. Wanna see what the rest of the world sees? look from a computer that you've never logged on to! |

Social bot rocks it is very reasonable ... actually a steal with a code and if you know how to use a proxy service such as TOR it is amazing what it will do but I already gave enough info away ... did'nt I! | |

Hey everybody, are there any *coupon codes* that work, because the "AWESOME" one doesn't work on the check-out page any longer...?

Socialbot sounds great. I used OnlyWire to automatically submit my WP posts to a bunch of social networking sites, but this one sounds great too for SEO clients.

I've been using OnlyWire for about a year now (the paid version) and have had no problems with it. I have around 15 social bookmarking sites configured and submit my blog posts to all of them at the same time. I usually get one or two that fail for one reason or another. The Firefox plugin is very handy to use as well and makes it faster to submit to sites.

I have Socialbot and Bookmarking Demon and I'm about to start using Only Wire on my wordpress pages. The only thing I'm not looking forward to is creating all the accounts. But I will still bookmark the home page with Socialbot or Bookmarking Demon. -Beau Waddington

I really appreciate everything that SocialBot has given me, it's made by some guy named Big Mike and pretty much anything by him seems to be reliable. (especially rssbot lol) I submitted my website to socialbot and the website was indexed in less than a few hours right after I made it. Hope I helped |

Using the paid version of OnlyWire - which is supposed to be mac/safari compatible - along with the new WP plugin. But it's not really automated from your WP blog - you still have to hit the extra little 'submitter' button on your mac toolbar - annoying by itself but what is really weird is that the submitter disappears and has to be reinstalled every time I turn the computer on. Once submitted I get a could ratio of success but too many other issues to make it a winner for me. Mel |
