Hi Jarad, I am with you I bought this software 5 days ago and I still do not have the answers to my questions. here is my email below. Jason is from paul's tech support.

Hi Jason,
I know this is a small family business. Been there done that. I owned three deli's, however I am not getting my questions answered. please see below

Hi Paul,

I am not able to set up my magiclistbot forms. I filed in all the forms and it said success however when I check the tiny URL I see the same sign up form on the website not the pop up I created in aweber. Can you please give be a better step by step example of how to set this up. I mean go into more detail than the very brief video you have. also I am not able to create the code for the twitter list builder, again I fill out all the information and click the link to generate code but the box is empty. What am I doing wrong? Can you please give a more detailed example of this also. I went and tried to get more on you tube but there is very little on your product there about how to install.

I am very new to this stuff and very excited about using this product, but I am also getting very frustrated.

Please help John. I would prefer you call or I call you so I do not have to send all these emails and wait 48 hr to hear back each time. thanks for any help you can give me.

do you have a number you can be reached at?
or you can call me at 860-642-1710 if that works better for you.

Wow, seems a few people not sure and i do not know why? i am a complete newby for better words and even though i was unsure of how this works and that i needed a auto responder ( and i will get that sorted the rest is easy to use and i like it, some tricky stuff this guy has done

I'm not magic but i will try and answer some Q's from what i know and i may be wrong so don't shoot me

with the ftp you can manually crate the file ( an option in the bottom section ) and to create the correct path, in the very top box host) on that second section place your url plus folder the file will be placed in if using one

www.mysite.com/myfolder and all will work sweet ( just check you don't need the hhtp:// as this is auto added

in the bottom (filename) place the filename you want say testing

then select save file to disk and just save it to your pc

then just through your cp upload that file to the myfolder on your site

then press next button down the bottom to get the urls and tweets needed.

Hi guys its LEE here from manchester uk iam a bit of a newbie and like most i thought this would be the anwser to help me build a list ive learnt after wasting money after money that you do need a list and a landing page to make money online. And now iam not sure if MLB is the future or not. With so many people making money online wheres the truth on what works yet again the gurus would be out of work if they show us how to really do it.
P.s My big thing is how do you get good traffic without getting hammered on PPC or blogging, web 20 articles and spending hours on safelists or traffic ex when most of uu work and have familes and not much time thanks LEE.

I'm not sure there is a "magic bullet" for traffic, although there seems to be an endless supply of people promising to sell you something that will get that traffic overnight. A few years ago you could run a program like Traffic Equalizer and within a few days have a boatload of traffic, but those days are over, as far as I know.

IMO, the best way has always been to take a long-term approach and don't expect to become rich overnight--I don't think it happens. A lot of us just jump around never following through with one plan, always buying the newest software hoping that it will be the quick cure. However, I've found that making money on the Internet is more about having a definite plan and sticking to it over the long-run. It's sort of like dieting, any diet will work, but you have to stay on it and give it time.

I most definitely agree, because this is where I am at right now. All over the map, you get ready to start a program, and here comes another, and then another, whereas you never fully completed the 1st project. I keep trying to narrow it down, in which, I have, but I still have wanting desire to check it out. And then it doesn' work,

Hey Guys
Iam going to try this. But before that, I want to know one thing from Great Warriors who bought this and tried.

What happens if the site we are targetting(or promoting or affiliating) has its own pop up? Which Pop up will show to the user? Our created Pop up with MLB or the targetted site's Pop up?

thanks

Hi everyone, my first post as only joined yesterday, great forum and wish I had found it years ago.

I bought MLB a few days ago and disappointed to say the least. I'd like to view the first video which was marketing this again but it seems to have gone!

Maybe I'm just thick, but I'm finding it impossible to use and feel a bit of a sucker. Going to give it another go now and then see what I do from there!

Also, feel cheated that i bought it from Paul Ponna only to find that I could have bought it elsewhere cheaper with more bonus software included. I learnt from here that someone called John has negotiated a discount from PP and is selling it 10 dollers cheaper AND a further 25% of the price paid to you via Paypal in 'cashback'.

I also bought the upsells, there is some good stuff on there, but just have a bad taste in my mouth.

I hate to moan.

I don't know how it works with this software, but in Aff List Magic, you could end up with 2 pop ups. I ended up setting the delay to zero and now my pop up shows up first and you have to close it before the other one will open.

Test it and see.

Right finally got magic list bot working. the twitter list generator didn't work with internet explorer only firefox. It now works with both.

The ftp bit, what I do is put all my ftp details in that i got from my FREE hosting account @ chris farrell hosting. I use filezilla. I put my domain name in which is lets say lead-marketer.net NOT ftp leadmarketer.net i then put my details from my hosting account which would be
Host: *****
path: public_html/lead-marketer.net/
login: *****
pasword:*****
Filename: If i'm an affiliate of an article program i would call my file article or whatever.
I then click save to disk and save the php file to my hard drive.

I then open up filezilla transfer the php file to the domain i mentioned earlier and then close filezilla.
i click next on the magic listbot andf get the tiny url and it then shows the file i uploaded.

hope this helps anyone. I'm writing quite quickly

I understand by the video that Magic List Bot allows you to put up a form for capturing emails from "any" site by putting in the desired website within the program. Nifty idea but isn't that unethical if someone decides to put their form on a site that is NOT theirs such as is shown in the video linked into ClickBank? A "newbie" could put their email capture form on a site of a well known internet marketer that is getting tons of traffic. That worries me to the fact that many people don't have scruples and no matter how that is view, it is still unethical. If that is what is possible, there are going to be serious problems. If I am understanding this incorrectly, please advise.

It really doesn't work that way. You are putting a page on your own domain that iframes the target site and puts your capture form on top of it. So you are not stealing the existing sites traffic. You still need to drive your own traffic to this page.

Magic List Bot comes back with a web version - it's now working quite well.
Worth a try. Google John Delavera's bonus to make it even better deal - Good luck

Hello and Thanks To Everyone For Your Comments.

I've been intermittently lurking since 2004 or so...... May have posted a few times back when...

I'm a boomer. And proud of it! Just so you guys know, you are a special group to those of us who grew up with white-out.

Magic List Bot.

I bought it and another one...from the same offer.

In a nutshell? I was just about contemplating a refund. I think in all the years, I got 1 refund ever and I too have spent a million, (right?) right.

I am not yet able to use MLB, but I was concerned over the inability to get a response back from the product's owner.

I actually bought it from an affiliate url. A longtime, newsletter/blog subscription I've had.

Anyway, he answered me quickly and gave me what contact information he had and was very nice and personally emailed me.

You would all know him...

So. after many attempts in 3 or 4 days, I started to doubt today if I would hear from Paul Ponna.

I am posting my thoughts.

Paul's office did email me directly, and gave me exactly what I had asked for.

Very nice email, very professional, and extremely simple.

I thought to myself a couple of things then:

1. At some point, trust in your instincts and follow through on your hunches, even if there are so many offers out there that are not legitimate.

2. If you're new, try to reach out with an email, even if it seems intimidating. I think these 'big guys' are mostly very sincere and well meaning!

3. And give the person you bought from time to get to you! I purchased on 8/31/09. Today is 9/9/09. About a week or so... especially following a big launch. I imagine it can get crazy.

I'm still not using the product yet, and I didn't want to get personal as far as naming, but I thought a good word would be okay.

Thanks,
Leona

P.S. As for understanding, I did watch the videos, I am in the process of hosting and I think I'll understand most of it. I think a totally newbie, I don't know....I do think that Paul will be giving it his best to get the instructional videos etc all put together.

At least I know that he will answer your email, and that alone is worth the $67.00 + that I paid

Thanks for clarifying how it works.

I'm with you on this one sandykj. Even if you had to drive traffic to your own website, and with iframe on your website, if I was running a major campaign and I knew someone was stealing my leads, there will be a war

The thing is there are unethical people who will do anything. You only have to read who is saying what to identify where they belong.

This is strange but I'm very motivated to respond to this thread again.

When there's talk of 'there'll be war!'....it sort of presents a battleground perspective...

The entire thread is filled with confusion over this product. (one that I bought and still haven't been able to get to it to see if I understand it all yet, myself. When I do understand how it works and what it all means, I'll decide at that time whether or not to use it!)

About MLB, one says you are not stealing, it's a great product...another says no it isn't! huh? So, I've learned to find out for myself what it is, is usually how I make the final decisions.

I have to say something. I don't know how many 'technically challenged' people there are today who read warrior forum. I'm sure we are far outnumbered by those who are not....

But learning is a process. Experimenting is part of the process. And until someone understands what is happening with something.. they are still 'finding out' and learning!

I do remember this forum early on, in the beginning years.... and it was full of 'learners' at that time.

If it wasn't for this forum in particular, I wonder how many today would be where they are today even...

So to those of you who understand the mechanics of something, I hope you will remember that there was a time when you didn't, and to try to exhibit a little more of that same ol' charitable spirit that made this forum what it is today.

Had that real charity not existed then, I imagine you who are just joining 'last month', (etc).... wouldn't even have it here to join today! It was built on good will.

It was (and is, I can see) still a super good spirited community and I for one am glad I can still come here.....to learn.

Thanks again,
Leona

@Andrew -- THAT is a VERY good point! The sales page and supporting videos imply that you can inject your code in somebody else's page, which, by the way, sounds impossible and questionable (at best).

I bought the software -- I'm trying it out just to see what it does. So far, it's kind of slick but you do need your own web site (or at least a place to host files -- the "web 2.0" version worked for a few days, now the functionality seems to have been disabled -- I could be wrong about that).

You certainly need to do all of your own promotion, however, just like with nearly everything else.

I entered my name and email in the optin page for Magic List Bot, but never got a confirmation email back as they say in the webpage. Does anybody know the url to buy the software without going to the optin page first?

Thanks,

Eddy

not sure, but the magiclistbot.com url says that "'s an all new update coming out shortly."

couple days ago, it said, 'sold out' that was all.

so maybe the opt-in is being re-configured and all? notsure... that's all i could see...

well...so far that i know about this software is, you will generate new link that will take you to a website and when you click it, there will be additional stuff on that website which is your pop up advertisement.
and this pop up will catch the email every time people sign up on it. That's where you get your listing.

But the thing is, this software generate new URL that we actually need to promote it in order to make it work, so why promote new link if we hardly promote our own link to our website???

Think it yourself...

The only issue I have with Magic List Bot is that I've not been
able to get the pop-up function to work as stipulated. I think
the problem lies in the fact that I cannot get the link uploaded
to my web host server as instructed.

I've written support about my problem and a pdf document was
issued on how to enter the required information for the upload
to function properly. I tried it but to no avail. I keep getting
error 550 when I click on the upload button. As you'll guess, I
haven't used Magic List Bot for awhile now. I didn't have any
problem with Magic Pop-Up or Magic Twitter.

Back to spin_doc, I am new to IM and forums and don't know how to respond directly except by private message and wanted this to be public. I am not knowledgeable to keep track of the places I have posted and came back across this post to read the info below and don't appreciate the connotation of the remark below. I have worked around a lot of unethical people over the years and just because I make note of ways I question the ethical or unethical practices that can be done by a particular program doesn't mean that is where "I belong". If I had been keeping up with this post I would have posted a long time back. If you knew the least about me and my ethics, that comment would have never been made.

The thing is there are unethical people who will do anything. You only have to read who is saying what to identify where they belong.

Sandykj, I don't think spin_doc was referring to you.

Hey Guys,

This is Mike Cowles. I just found this thread and saw a few comments about my software Affiliate Link Magic that I thought needed to be cleared up.

First, it's got some similar features as Magic List Bot, but is definitely different and from what I hear easier to use. Affiliate Link Magic lets you put a pop up on someone else's sales page when cloaking your link. In other words, you can change a link from http://www.hostgator.com/yourlongugl...linkidgoeshere... to www.freetoolsandtips.com/hostgator. (Btw, if you click on the second link, you'll see ALM in action and a cool bonus technique.)

The other thing I wanted to clear up is the price for the pro version.

The pro version is offered after getting the lite version for free (plus s&h). The shipped pro version is $67. If you decline that offer, the digital version is available for $37. The difference in features is the pro version is more customizable, has an exit pop up (so you can have multiple product/price offers) and has built in ftp so you can upload pages/links with one click.

I hope that helps clear things up. Please feel free to pm me if you have any questions.

Hi Mike

There is no offer available already.

Where do you get the pro version of $67? And what is the
difference between the pro and the digital version?

Looks like an exiting product. Any special promotion offer
for offer to the warriors here?

Hear from you again.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely

Hi Richard,

Affiliate Link Magic is still available at Affiliate Link Magic- The Most Powerful Affiliate Software On The Planet!. You can get a copy for free (plus shipping). There will be an oto for the pro version for $67, but I'll tell you and the other warriors a secret. If you say "no thanks" to that offer, you'll see a downsell for the exact same software in the digital version (instead of on a cd mailed to you) for only $37.

Talk to you soon.

Hi Mike

Thanks for the secret.

Yes, this is what we are confused about the downsell
part... is it the same? Now everything is clear.

I have also noticed that there is no opt-in form from
my browser at Firefox at:

=> Affiliate Link Magic- The Most Powerful Affiliate Software On The Planet!

Wonder if it is due to the fact that I am running it at
Window 7 os?

I have got no problem with IE browser.

Yours sincerely

To me the magic list bot is not very good tool from what I read. It is all about getting leads from twitter and from my experience twitter traffic is not always the best and twitter is starting to become oversaturated with everyone promoting something these days.

The site with your popup is in an iframe on your own site which you still have to promote as any other offer. Be sure you understand this.

Your pop up does NOT magically appear in the target website's code!!!

I have over 40,000 targeted followers on Twitter and regularly Tweet good content e.g. links to YouTube and other articles.

I can therefore see how this software can help me get more subscribers.

However, how else can it be used besides Twitter?

Anybody got any ideas?

Hi Brian, thanks for introducing BZ9 to this thread. It's over a year since you created the post but I thought I would chip in given you had raised the reference about BZ9 and given the BZ9 service has now moved on leaps and bounds in the last year.

I represent BZ9.com - and yes we are new to the Warrior Forum, so we are going to re dress the balance to get you some independent reviews as well as official company documentation and videos.

Tiffany Dow made an excellent BZ9 video review - take a look as it should give you an insight as to what we offer.

And you can use 85% of the BZ9 tools for FREE.

As I am replying to an old post, I will list here the complete list of marketing and listing building tools which you can add to YOUR OWN website or to BZ9 SHORT URLs:

designer drop-ins
exit scripts
autoresponders
peel away ads
viral bars
follow me tabs

PLUS you can also Build landing pages
