Easy WP Localhost vs Wp Localhost

I was wondering if anyone knows how this product differs from the previous one WpLocalHost. They are obviously by the same author and very similar in nature. I don't see why this was not offered as an upgrade from the previous version.

Has anyone used Easy WP LocalHost or WP LocalHost? Does it work?

After digging a little deeper, I have found that this is a completely new program, not an upgrade from the previous version. It appears to be quite a bit easier to install and utilize when compared to the older version.

I am going to pick this up and will get back with regards to the differences.

Thanks Phil for digging deeper. It' always scary to purchase a plugin like this not knowing if they have the support and ability to keep it up to date. There are three levels to purchase so it gets pretty expensive if you want all the functionality they show in the video.

I sure wish we could find some real users.

I purchased Easy WP LocalHost Developer. Yes it works, but not using the plugin. Very easy to setup all the local WP and PHPMyAdmin configurations, and I have used it to successfully debug a WP site I was having issues with. Would like to try the plugin, but as you say, gets expensive to do it all. Might just be better to manually download the files/database and play with them locally.

I've been using Easy WP LocalHost with WP Clone plugin and it works great! Setup your local site, get it all working, clone it, then import the clone into a live site online.

Easy WP Localhost is excellent for the price, very easy to use after some initial setup (mostly just copying folders over to the right place). Very well done.

actually there's one downside to this is that it doesn't support "Online Server" so if a client want to track the website building progress with you then you simply can't show them the site "online" except if they are sitting beside you or watch it through teamviewer! Correct me if i am wrong!

However in WAMP server you have the option to put the server online so everyone can see it on the internet.

So for a better option you can use WAMP server (and it's very easy to configure btw) + use the "All-in-One WP Migration" plugin to transfer you WP site from localhost to regular online hosting and it's very easy!

    Both software are FREE!

If you want to show clients, just push the site off local to a staging area. The main benefit to me of using localhost is the speed of development on multiple sites, but you should aways test the site in a live environment anyway before release.

For about the same price ServerPress is also a good option which I use. The possible additional advantage of EWPL is being able to load plugins and themes with the OTO developer pack, but as mentioned, you can use All-In-One Migration or Duplicator to clone your working site with everything intact.

The price for Easy WP LOcalhost is quite okay and very easy to use though after some initial setups which are mostly just copying folders over to the right place. After that you are good to go.
