30 bucks a month is not expensive for good quality hosting.

well because I from Singapore, SIN dollar is a bit weak now vs USD

I pay SIN dollar 500 + a bit after convert from 362.35 USD.

Well yup , site ground I like their service well perhaps thats why you pay more , you will get better services.

nothing is kinda free or cheapskate around if you want good service yet want to pay cheap rates perhaps?

Do you have VPS hosting? If not, then you are paying too much.

What sort of number of daily visitors do you expect to your site?
How many sites are you hosting?

You can get good hosting for a lot less than $362.35 per year.

I'd move domains and hosting out of there if that's too much for you. And oh, keep domains separate from the host.

You can go under half the price you're paying now and actually get more for your money.

Business packages on the hosting in a couple of places I know of off the bat will probably give you just as good a deal, if not better. You could get 2 years out of what you're paying now.

If you find the right place to move to, they might even do the actual move for you.

The cost increases even more if you want to host multiple websites. Most managed Wordpress host do not allow multiple domains on the same account, or if they do allow ityou have to purchase a higher priced plan to be able to host multiple sites. If you run several different sites the cost can get very high pretty quickly.

in fact i start using site ground back in 2014 than I start back again with them as I too busy with my full time job which is sucks...that also affect my time building up my site...

than I restart back using the basic plan slowly traffic increase thus I have to upgrade the plan
      now to their geek host

so I wondering is the price justify for me ?

What I like is their services if got any problems their tech will be on the spot troubleshoot etc..

whereas I know some host companies..you have can't get help instantly.

I never host multi site. Just concentrate on one site.

Heck, if you pay by the year you can get hosting for about $50.00 per year (first year) then less than $100.00 per year after that.

Undoubtedly you can get cheaper hosting elsewhere. But that doesn't mean you should.

I really have no opinion of your current provider nor of any of the others suggested. But I'd also caution you not to cheap out on your web hosting. Yes, you don't have to pay for more than you need, but you should also know that you do get what you pay for. And that goes beyond just the specs on your machine -- more important are the people who deploy, maintain and support your server(s).

And let's face it -- if you're sweating over $30/month, your business has far more urgent issues than paying too much for web hosting...

business slowly improve thanks to fellow WR here daily tips and we all share and learn from one another here , together earn some income.

I only just wonder I paying too much as I already mention , i like their service perhaps that why slightly more for top quality service in back end. I don't mind pay extra for it save me from troubles , worry etc.

I only just curious as I never research a lot of host companies when I first want to start out a website and happen I see quite a lot give good feedback on site ground thus i sign up with them and indeed not bad.

I get you. I just think that people seem to get distracted by unimportant things. Yeah, you may be able to save a little money by moving, but how much time would it take you to find and move to a new host? And would you be better off spending that time doing something that would earn you more than the $30/month you're spending on hosting?

I'm not saying you should never switch hosts or should never try to save money. But your time is money too. And in the grand scheme of things your website is too important to skimp on. Risking an outage or moving to a company that doesn't provide you with the kind of service you need isn't worth a few bucks -- at least it's not to me.

Make sure that your current host cannot improve and switch to another!
