Offline question: AWeber vs Interspire?

I think everyone knows AWeber so I wont post any link.

My question is this, should I go with Interspire and Host this myself?

I can have full control of all my Offline clients accounts and not pay separately for multiple AWeber accounts.

There are Advantages and Disadvantages to both.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mac

you just need one account at Aweber to handle multiple lists for multiple purposes. I think right now I am working 26 different lists in different niches all through my 1 aweber account.

The problem is that AWebers name is listed in the email, whereas with your self hosted you can create whatever name you want.

It places more perceived value when a client "thinks" you have your own software and are managing their account. Try charging $300 month for basic lead capture and up to $1,000 for writing their copy/sending autoresponders/specials, etc... and you'll know what I mean.

Plus AWeber is double Opt in, it is better to do Single opt in for businesses.

That's why I was hoping someone here had experience with Both in the Offline area.

      Thanks,

      Mac

I would agree with Winebuddy on this. Use Aweber for all your email marketing. All you need is one account with Aweber. Then for each different product you are advertising, Aweber lets you set these up as separate projects within the one account. There 's so much you can do with Aweber its brill.

I recently set up one of my clients with Interspire and so far have been very impressed.
This client is a local business, not in the IM niche, and is sending out newsletters that people want to receive, so spam complaints are not an issue.

I set up Interpsire on a VPS, which is fine for this client's needs but if you have a really big list you might want a dedicated server. As long as you have your server set up correctly you'll get excellent email delivery rates.

I use Aweber, I'm not an email list manager and have no plans on becoming one.

(They do a LOT of stuff behind the scenes to make sure your emails get through.)

Just sign up your clients under your affiliate link and get their login details off them.

And yeah, when you sign up with Aweber you can choose single or double opt-in. So just make sure your clients are single if that's what you want.

It really depends what you want to do. I use both AWeber and Interspire, but the cool thing about Interspire is you can sell your own hosted accounts on your server. But if you just have AWeber right now, stick with it. You can import the offline subscribers. By the way, you should read my review in my sig, it can open up new avenues for you.

Thanks, I'm going to your review now.

Yes, I like the fact I can sell my own hosted accounts for Interspire. Especially since I work in the Offline market.
