Keyword Elite 2.0 vs. Market Samurai: What Are The Differences?

Very simple, use MS if you're looking to find keywords, backlinks, quickly find affiliate products, monetize with amazon, cb, google, or clickbank. It doesn't do anything with CPA (yet) but wait and see for the last module. I choose and love Market Samurai. Heck, they're both great tool, but start with samurai first then get KE. Use both.

I got a huge discount off the KW Elite price tag as part of a mega bonus from one of Brad's JV product launch deals and like some of you guys say, its pretty good on some (most) aspects when doing KW research.

Samurai seems much more robust and includes metrics that you really need to have in order to enter a market and compete with any confidence in a specific niche. But, I still boot up Micro Niche Finder more than either of these, coz Longtails KWs work best (3 word phrases is the formula)

Yesterday, I sat in on a joint webinar from Brian Johnson and James Jones that showed how to build these mini micro niche sites < 2 hours. I wish I had known about Brian's NetMarketingCourse 6 months ago, I wouldn't have bought either MS or KW Elite and saved myself a few hundred bucks.

To me, the $97 I coughed up for MNF was well worth it, plus there's a major upgrade coming next week and I won't have to pay any more $$ for it. I like getting lifetime upgrades w/out having to click the PayPal button.

What I like better about Market Samurai is their SEO competition module
which analyses your top 10 competitors for a page one ranking on Google.

What's the point on finding a really great keyword phrase, with a low number
of competing pages and a high number of searches, only to find out that
your top 10 competitors are carved in stone on Google's page 1.

You'll have literally no chance of cracking the top 10 positions because the top 10
have 10 year old domain names, 100,000+ backlinks and SEO optimazed to the max.

Keyword Elite won't tell you that.

If you want to learn some really "off the hook" keyword research methods,
check out Howie Schwartz. He'll show you how to find some fantastic keywords
just using the Google Keyword tool (which is free).

I can't think of anything that is more of an untrue statement than that, unless I'm completely not understanding what you're saying and here's why. I apologize if I misunderstood you.

I agree with Brad. Keyword Elite 2 does exactly that. The search engine domination feature gives you lots of stats on the top 10's onpage and offpage elements. It even has a very cool feature that uses a formula to calculate the strength of the competition and basically tells you how hard it would be to rank for that particular word / phrase.

For me, KE2 is extremely powerful and a complete step up from the first KE. It's probably the best piece of software I own... And I own lots.

I have Elite Keywords 2, good program. But MS is an all round better presentation and is better thought out. The functions not covered in MS I can find elsewhere for free. Go MS!

Hands down, Market Samurai is best. If you use thirtydaychallenge.com they will go over so many things that will help you really use Market Samurai to it's fullest extent.

It's totally free to sign up and do the challenge. To me it is invaluable.

I did the trial of keyword elite but it just wasn't working for me.

Update!! You know what, I need to correct myself here. I may not have been completely fair about Keyword Elite. I think this might prove a point that a tool is only as good as it's owner. I honestly never took the time to go through the videos that would teach me the best ways to use Keyword Elite, so I think I will take some time to do that.

Market Samurai training videos for some reason managed to grab my attention and make sense. So, I don't think I have been completely fair.

Where does MS give you the OCI or Commercial Intent? Also I find that MS does not really give you a great choice of finding keywords outside of the Google list (like MNF or KWE). Did I miss something?

Well I tried both. And MS get my vote. But that's because to me it's easier to use. And it's user friendly. Who wants to think long and hard these days!
