What's the deal with Keyword Elite 2.0?

I have the original Keyword Elite. Will we receive the update to 2.0 or is this being marketing as a "different" tool that would have to be purchased. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I didn't get a discount offer, but I sure got slammed with affiliate emails on this. I just assumed when I logged into Keyword Elite, I'd get some kind of pop-up offer telling me about some awesome upgrade for his loyal customers.

What can I say, I live in affiliate marketing dreamland where everyone treats everyone else like friends and scammers just don't exist.

The original KWE never lived up to the hype in my opinion, but it was a good tool even if the results were a little buggy.

Lately, I've been using Market Samurai in conjunction with Googles keyword tool and don't really feel like I need to go anywhere else for keyword research.

But, hey, I haven't even looked at the new Keyword Elite, so I probably am missing the keyword tool of a lifetime and will lose my shirt to some noob that bought the program.

Hey guys, I posted the answer to this question in a different thread, but will post here too.
I personally mailed out the special coupon code to all KE 1.0 users yesterday. If you didn't receive the email, please submit a support ticket and Charlie, who is sitting 2 doors down from me (with his skin tight cargo pants on... hehe... Don't tell him I said that) will hook you up as fast as he can :-)

Email is pretty unreliable, so that could be the reason you didn't receive it. That, or you had registered an old email address awhile back that you no longer use. Whatever the case, go ahead and submit a support ticket here

You could get KWE2.0 for $97 anyway, just search the Keyword Elite 2.0 on google and you will see #1 paid ad says "Keyw0rd Elite" $100 -Off.
However, I'm thinking about using my own clickbank link to buy it.
I think they pay like 60% of sale price, so I pay $197 right now but I will get $118 back so I will end up only paying 79$

No, I actually don't think the payout is that high. I think the commission is around $45 w/ no upsells.

Market Samurai is just a fantastic product and due to the many features and uses it is also fun to use - something I never experienced when working with KE 1

Totally agree to that. KE 1.0 was purchased a long while ago - don´t expect us to lock the paypal slip behind bars. But we sure have the reg number.
Haven´t received any upgrade offer either.

Will Keyword Elite 2.0 be to the detriment of Micro Niche Finder. MNF is a great tool which I have found more easier to use than KWE ver 1, but I notice that KWE 2.0 now has a feature that MNF has had for while which is it can give a green light on keywords to use.

Will Micro Niche Finder raise the bar to compete?

I have been using keyword elite 2 for a few hours, and I have to say I am a little disapointed. It did not manage to find me anything new of interest in my main niche, but then that it perhaps because I have researched that niche to death already!

Perhaps I was expecting too much, ie to find some killer keyword out of the blue! Still for a new niche it would speed things up, as it took me quite a while to gather my keywords myself before.

KE 2.0 comes with the forced continuity (delayed) membership in Search Marketing Elite, which we could cancel, of course, before the end of our free first month. I did submit a ticket to cancel that membership and it was acknowledged. However, I now have received a seller's cancellation request via ClickBank to cancel KE 2.0 itself! I hope this was just a mistake and not a indication that KE 2.0 itself is tied to some kind of membership plan ...I didn't understand it to be that way.

I rejected the KE 2.0 cancellation, by the way. It's a great piece of software. A little rough in places but I'm sure these will be smoothed out.

If you do CPA plus affiliate stuff KWE2 is good. But I prefer Market Samurai. However, remember it all comes down to what you're goal is. Personally, I would get both. A good tool is a good tool and those two are the best!

I agree about MS. The videos are amazing and I love the fact that the software is updated regularly which is a great bonus for members. I've got KE1 and it's alright but never got any updates w/ it. I just think that for newbs KE2 has some features that you're never going to need but as you say getting both KE2 and MS can't hurt.

I agree i never realized so many lists had my emails till KE2.0 came out, got spammed to death on deals offers reviews and bonuses , its just crazy.

So anyone have it and can really say that its any better then the other same keyword tools that everyone and their uncle is coming out with ?

As a followup to this situation, it appears that the ClickBank transaction was erronously processed and included the cancellation of my entire order instead of just the recurring charges part. This has been corrected at last!

Credit where it's due.

I asked them to cancel the recurring fees today, just a few hours ago.

I received a confirmation from their helpdesk that it has been cancelled and a Clickbank confirmation.

The helpdesk message was , errm shall we say , short and sweet but , you have to give credit for prompt attention and dealing with customer issues.

KE 2.0 comes with the forced continuity (delayed) membership in Search Marketing Elite, which we could cancel, of course, before the end of our free first month. I did submit a ticket to cancel that membership and it was acknowledged. However, I now have received a seller's cancellation request via ClickBank to cancel KE 2.0 itself! I hope this was just a mistake and not a indication that KE 2.0 itself is tied to some kind of membership plan ...I didn't understand it to be that way. I rejected the KE 2.0 cancellation, by the way. It's a great piece of software. A little rough in places but I'm sure these will be smoothed out.

But I prefer Market Samurai. However, remember it all comes down to what you're goal is. Personally, I would get both. A good tool is a good tool and those two are the best!

The videos are amazing and I love the fact that the software is updated regularly which is a great bonus for members. I've got KE1 and it's alright but never got any updates w/ it. I just think that for newbs KE2 has some features that you're never going to need but as you say getting both KE2 and MS can't hurt.

I agree i never realized so many lists had my emails till KE2.0 came out, got spammed to death on deals offers reviews and bonuses , its just crazy. So anyone have it and can really say that its any better then the other same keyword tools that everyone and their uncle is coming out with ? Market Samarai does a lot what does this do that that doesnt?

Credit where it's due. I asked them to cancel the recurring fees today, just a few hours ago. I received a confirmation from their helpdesk that it has been cancelled and a Clickbank confirmation. The helpdesk message was , errm shall we say , short and sweet but , you have to give credit for prompt attention and dealing with customer issues.
