Is Keyword Elite Worth $197?

Last few days I am being bombard by gurus ranging from Amish Shah. PPC Bully to Ewen Chai to get the latest version of Keyword Elite 2.0

Is it worth the $197 (special offer) instead of the regular price of $997?

My personal opinion is that it's always worth finding out if a product really works. The product owner can simply decide to withdraw a product from a promotion so it's important that we all try out products first hand rather than listen to another person trying to make money off of you. You just need to try it.

One of my students used keyword elite 1 with great success. His website hit Google first page in a pretty competitive niche, and now he makes more than $1000 per month.

He was a complete beginner when he started to use it.

Actually I don't agree that MS is better than KE2 to find long tail keywords.

Don't take me wrong I was using Market Samurai until now to create my niche websites and this software rocks! It was the best ... until now I think.

I have played with KE2 for more than 1 week now (I got a JV partner review copy before launch date). At the beginning I really thought that MS was better and that I would not use KE2 instead.

But I tested KE2 anyway because I had to write a review for my blog.

I made some comparisons between the keywords returned by MS and the ones returned by KE2.

KE2 returns more long tail keywords than MS. It also returns more related terms that were not found by MS. With KE2 I have found high search volume / low competition keywords that MS didn't show me.

First of all, I think that $997 "regular" price is just for show. But anyway, I personally think if you are happy with your current keyword tool (Market Samurai, etc) and you don't have money to burn, then you should just stick with what you have. I'm using the new Keyword Elite 2 and while it's nice, it hasn't blown me away really.

I really like one new feature in KWE 2.0, that is Adwords Time Machine.
Does MS have something like that or any other keyword tools have this kind of feature?

I purchased KE2 on launch day and signed up for the Market Samurai trial the same day.

My primary interest was on the SEO competition modules of each program so that is where I have spent most of my time.

Market Samurai is clearly superior in this regard. While KE2 primarily reports on-page factors, MS provides a breakdown of the backlinks by PR and anchor text. It also gives you clickable link (exportable) to each backlink page for in-depth evaluation of the link quality.

KE2 only gives you the total backlinks which can be very deceptive if 90% of the pages are PR0 or run of site links that carry little weight. MS gives you a much better measure of the true strength of the competition.

KE2 does generate a much larger list of keywords than MS does, but neither is superior to other options in terms of a keyword tool.

The CPA Magnet data is provided by OfferVault.com. You can perform more meaningful searches and get more detailed information about CPA offers by going directly to OfferVault, which is free to join.

I found no value in the Adwords Time Machine which is what I deal with every day.

Overall, I am very underwhelmed and disappointed with KE2.

Market Samurai is not perfect either. It is basically an incomplete and unstable beta version that they are charging for. But it meets my needs better. Your needs and results may be different.

I was actually pretty underwhelmed by the amount of keywords KE2 returns. Seemed to be way less than even what the Adwords keyword tool returns.

My mentor swears by Keyword Elite 2.0, hes had great success with it and keeps recommending it to me. He says hes made $2-3k a month with it...his site is top 3 or 4 on first google search page. I think its definately worth a go for $197 thats not a great deal

one of the reasons i bought keyword elite is that the sales letter said that you received a copy of seo elite when you also signed up for a 30 day trial of another product. i just canceled that one b/c i did not want it and the customer service person is telling me right now in a series of emails that because i cancelled the continuity product, i do not receive the seo elite software as advertised.

anyone else have this problem?

they will be uploaded in about 2-3 weeks.

I've completed a set of vid manuals, and working on another set, ie, examples of finding niches, running keyword lists for that niche, filtering the keywords to high paying adsense keywords by a formula i use, and heaps of info on SEO, a lot of focus has been on onpage with about 1-2hrs of content, so far I've done 20 videos today, will be doing more tomorrow.

cos it was using different data sources, this was repeated a few times on the forum actually, now since google has allowed us to see more data, this has been added to KE 2.0. You wont get any better than KE 2.0, it's better than MS by a long shot.

this seems SUPER SHADY to me...and very misleading sales letter if that's the case.

Sorry Jay Es, I know this isn't what you want to hear, but the sales letter did not say that SEO Elite was free with the purchase of KE-2, but rather that it was only free as part of the paid membership so long as you are a paid up member. Brad is in no way shady...he's one of the good guys.

Paul, MS is shipping the full version and has been out of Beta for a long time, as far as I am aware.

I've found it to be rock solid - not sure why you call it unstable.

I use it almost exclusively for SEO, and it does a great job. Anyone on the fence should take a trial and see for themselves.

I bought KE 2.0 a couple of weeks ago and, mind you, it's not like I have money to burn. I thought long and hard about it, but finally the other tools I was using (mostly free, Traffic Travis, Senuke) were missing one thing or another. I was very impressed with their video presentation, so I decided to give it a try. You can return it, you know...

And since I decided to cancel Senuke, I rationalize that I had the budget for it...

I'm happy with it so far. I use it daily and I like the interface. Some of the keywords it returns are not relevant, but I guess that's true of all the tools.

Also, I was dissapointed that it didn't have as many affiliate networks in the CPA magnet as in the sale video. I asked support and they said they are adding many of them within a month or so.

I've never used MS, so can't compare it, but so far my site has reached no. 1 page in Google for one of my longtails.

I agree with cheapdeals. I've tried my fair share of keyword tools and none of them have been worth the money. I've had more success with Google's free tool.

no, that is simply not true. show me where it says this? show me the exact ad copy....because it does not exist.

it says that seo elite is free with purchase of the SME trial product. which conveys if you take the trial you get the seo elite free (standard gift with purchase off, eh?)

i have not engaged in any name calling, so it's not fair to say that. honestly, i was shocked by the response i received from customer support. i don't think it's ambiguous...i think trial and limited access offers should be clearly labeled as such. and they clearly were not in this case. especially since brad is an experienced commodity i did not expect to be having this conversation at all. but the notion of buy keyword elite and get a "free copy" (which implies you own it right?) version of seo elite was a major factor in making this consideration.

it is common for marketers these days to offer free product (2nd product) as an incentive to take a free 30 day trial of an upsell product.

Seo elite is priced at $167. which is another reason why i believe the sales letter leads the reader to think they are getting a free copy. that is the "value" of the product. (and obviously not the value of a 30-day trial).

I do not see where it actually *finds* the profitable campaigns and keywords for you like Google Cash Detective does.

With KE2 you have to input keywords, then it tells you how they are doing and what sites are promoting that word. Then you can drill down into other sites. But it does not intuitively tell which Kywds/campaigns are profitable. Isn't that the point? I do not feel like entering keyword after keyword -- i would like there to be some sematic function that sows profitable keywords in a Niche.. rather thna make me enter themm.. Christ, I don't know what they are, that is why I have the tool..

I find google keyword to be the best..

I was looking for something as powerful as Google Cash detective which instantly shows profitable campaigns.

Also the CPA module is pretty useless.

None of those keyword tools are worth it apart from Mincro Niche finder.

I'll give you the reason why in a video on youtube but to explain it in one sentence..

Google's algorythm is a lot more complicated, much much more than what analaysis any of those softwares will do.

Not looking at the top 10 results.

Is not an option.

I found a review site of KW Elite 2.0, and on that site, the price for KWElite was $97. Now, the question is, was that person trying to scam me, or was he willing to lose money like that?

I don't think he got a deal from the KWElite owners to let him sell the product for less than 197$, and I know that the commission for KWEilte, from Clickbank, is $63, so he would be in loss if it were to pay from its own pocket.

Anyway, from what I read on this forum, I'm still not decided which one to buy..Market Samurai or KW Elite 2.0.... how do you choose?

Everytime its changed you have to pay fro the upgrade. Lont term you will keep having to reinvest money to have the latest version of the tool. On KE2 their were coupons out to buy it new for 97.00, owners of KE1 paid 97.00 for the upgrade. Market Samari much better investment long run.

Actually it is still in "beta" with one module to be release. Let me tell you though I have it on both my 32 bit and 64 bit machines (on is a laptop) and it is fast even going through a VPN tunnel on wifi. And I've never had stability issue. Yesterday they updated it TWICE and support is quick and courteous.

It is effective.. However, success does not rely on it. Your website and what you offer still dictates the conversion rate you would probably get.

Paul, MS is shipping the full version and has been out of Beta for a long time, as far as I am aware. I've found it to be rock solid - not sure why you call it unstable. I use it almost exclusively for SEO, and it does a great job. Anyone on the fence should take a trial and see for themselves.

I bought KE 2.0 a couple of weeks ago and, mind you, it's not like I have money to burn. I thought long and hard about it, but finally the other tools I was using (mostly free, Traffic Travis, Senuke) were missing one thing or another. I was very impressed with their video presentation, so I decided to give it a try. You can return it, you know... And since I decided to cancel Senuke, I rationalize that I had the budget for it... I'm happy with it so far. I use it daily and I like the interface. Some of the keywords it returns are not relevant, but I guess that's true of all the tools. Also, I was dissapointed that it didn't have as many affiliate networks in the CPA magnet as in the sale video. I asked support and they said they are adding many of them within a month or so. I've never used MS, so can't compare it, but so far my site has reached no. 1 page in Google for one of my longtails.

Posts: 62 Thanks: 4 Thanked 3 Times in 2 Posts Social Networking	Re: Is Keyword Elite Worth $197? i have not engaged in any name calling, so it's not fair to say that. honestly, i was shocked by the response i received from customer support. i don't think it's ambiguous...i think trial and limited access offers should be clearly labeled as such. and they clearly were not in this case. especially since brad is an experienced commodity i did not expect to be having this conversation at all. but the notion of buy keyword elite and get a "free copy" (which implies you own it right?) version of seo elite was a major factor in making this consideration. it is common for marketers these days to offer free product (2nd product) as an incentive to take a free 30 day trial of an upsell product.

Seo elite is priced at $167. which is another reason why i believe the sales letter leads the reader to think they are getting a free copy. that is the "value" of the product. (and obviously not the value of a 30-day trial). seriously, this is very misleading copy...and a bit of a text book example of what not to do.

I do not see where it actually finds the profitable campaigns and keywords for you like Google Cash Detective does. With KE2 you have to input keywords, then it tells you how they are doing and what sites are promoting that word. Then you can drill down into other sites. But it does not intuitively tell which Kywds/campaigns are profitable. Isn't that the point? I do not feel like entering keyword after keyword -- i would like there to be some sematic function that sows profitable keywords in a Niche.. rather thna make me enter themm.. Christ, I don't know what they are, that is why I have the tool.. I find google keyword to be the best.. I was looking for something as powerful as Google Cash detective which instantly shows profitable campaigns. Also the CPA module is pretty useless.

None of those keyword tools are worth it apart from Mincro Niche finder. I'll give you the reason why in a video on youtube but to explain it in one sentence.. Google's algorythm is a lot more complicated, much much more than what analaysis any of those softwares will do. Not looking at the top 10 results. Is not an option. Mark

I found a review site of KW Elite 2.0, and on that site, the price for KWElite was $97. Now, the question is, was that person trying to scam me, or was he willing to lose money like that? I don't think he got a deal from the KWElite owners to let him sell the product for less than 197$, and I know that the commission for KWEilte, from Clickbank, is $63, so he would be in loss if it were to pay from its own pocket. Anyway, from what I read on this forum, I'm still not decided which one to buy..Market Samurai or KW Elite 2.0.... how do you choose?
