Looking For A Quality SEO Course

Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a quality SEO course. I was searching the internet and ran across this website:

Stomping2 . com

I'm considering purchasing this course, but first I would like to know if it's worth it.

Is anyone familiar with Stomping2? Is it worth the money or is it not? Should I be looking else where? If so, can anyone recommend a QUALITY SEO course?

Thank you,
-Will

I bought Stomping the Search Engines 2 and it's top shelf stuff. The one-time offers are excellent as well.

Another excellent course is SeoBook by Aaron Wall of "Findable Websites" fame. You can sign up for free and gain access to some usefull material.

Finally, a great FREE resource is Dan Thies' SEO Fast Start.

    Hope this helps,

    Pierre.

I would second that - excellent resource (knows his stuff) and he offers a free start up (not sure if that's the free one or not).

Which one would be your top pick out of the two:

      Stomper2 or SEOBook?

The paid version of SeoBook is currently full, so sign up for the free version. For one, you'll get the SEO plugin for FireFox.

Then, invest the $1 for Stomping the Search Engines 2 and take a close look whether any of the one-time offers are of interest to you. PM me for some tips.

I am assuming you already grabbed Dan Thies' SEO Fast Start. As Dan is a StomperNet faculty member, this is in a way a preview of what you can expect in STSE2.

        Pierre.

Your right, I have read Dan Thies's SEO Fast Start. It's an excellent eBook.

          PM coming your way.

I've signed up for Stomper2 (only $1, what a bargain!) and highly, highly recommend it for SEO.

There's so many myths and outdated SEO knowledge being spread around. The stompernet guys are the real deal. They give you the best techniques that they know will work because they test it diligently.

I have to beg to differ on that, Stompernet has made a couple of major screw up's that I know of on SEO by trying to be too smart and too cutting edge, be warned!, for example they were pushing LSI and the use of the no follow tag, they later had to eat their own words and admit these were not the best practice, there's only so much to SEO, the rest is hype that people like stompernet use to justify their generally good but very expensive education.

I found this free course to be very good

I was lucky enough to be given a free copy of Stomping The Search Engines 2.0 to review before it was released last summer and I have written a very long and extensive review as someone who is from a business rather than technical background.

I can't put a link because I haven't posted enough on here but I have just searched google.com and my review on my Online Profits blog comes up number one for stomping the search engines review.

I think that says something about how well I have done from it and while I don't want to go into traffic numbers, my Alexa ranking has risen from around 250,000 to 90,000 (and sometimes better)
