Take a gander at Jeremy Morgan's Twadder Pro software in the WSO section (don't know if I'm allowed to post the link). It's currently going for $10 and has lots of features for the price. I've been window-shopping for adder software myself and this appears to have the best bang for the buck.

DM is what it means...Direct...not automated. It's designed for personal messages not for spam. Your tweets are directed to all your followers.

Actually you can do this with Hot Twitter Spy, it only can send according to the API batch limit on DM's per day. DM's can also be setup via SocialOomph ... again I think its governed by Twitter's API.

Is that the end for Twitter? NO.

DM's actually are useful if you have a very time sensitive offer, and you want to get the attention of your followers. Like any form of marketing when you abuse it YOU lose ....

I've reviewed alot of apps ... and settled with tweetspinner. I manage mulitple twitter accounts and the pro version supports that. Single act version is free plus you can still affiliate but I dont think it has all the functionality of pro.

Pro has the following features:

- full follower mgt including keyword, mimic and location based following with variable filters so you can manage exactly how / who and when you follow accounts
- purges those not following based on a time period if you like
- allows you to follow those you aren't yet following
- direct message spam cleansing
- auto tweeting with smart scripting
- profile spinning

without going into to much detail, the follower mgt functionality of tweetspinner is the most advanced app I've come across. BUT there are a few mentioned above that I will check out.

I've just finished updating my Twitter Adder software, mine allows you to:

Broadcast a Tweet to all of your Twitter Accounts

I'll put my vote in for Tweetspinner. You can do a lot with it including autofollowing and spinning your autoposting scheduled tweets so that you're not sending the same message over and over.
