NanaCast Users.... Am i missing something here?

Hey Warriors,
Some quick questions on Nanacast... I was under the impression that this was the ultimate shopping cart... The software is sweet... i have a couple of questions as i am
trying to set this up....

1-Is this a fully integrated shopping cart like Zen, sunshop, or ?

2-I want my store to operate just like a shopping cart, i have over 1000 products to load up over the next 60 days... is this possible with nanacast?

3-Is nanacast the right solution for Physical product sales combined with creating an affiliate program...

4- I want an integrated affiliate program that allows affiliates to be paid on any sale of product on my site, i would prefer once the vistor has came to the store once, they are coded to the affiliate for life...or as best as possible..

Can anyone please give me some input?
Thanks in advance for your time
Regards,
Robert Nelson

    Hey Robert

I've only just recently started using nanacast, so I'm no expert on their features, but I'll do my best to guide you in the right way.

The nanacast system isn't an integrated shopping cart as such, given that everything is setup and hosted on the nanacast site. You can then easily place buy links/buttons on your own site with a snippet of code, but that will take the customer to the nanacast site for the checkout process. As far as I know, you cant do mass imports of products like other shopping cart systems, so if you have large amounts of products you will probably have to insert each one individually. This will of course have an impact on your decision. But unless you have usable data of all products to do a mass import, you'll have to do manual insertion anyhow no matter which system you use.

Nanacast has superior affiliate tracking by way of cookie and IP, Josh has stated that no other system on earth does that and I'm pretty sure everyone out there only uses cookie tracking which is flakey at the best of times! If you want to be able to reward an affiliate for ALL future sales a customer makes, then nanacast is your best option.

Yes it's a good option for physical products, so you have no worries there.

Really, the power of nanacast comes not from it's ability to serve products and charge for items in a shopping cart. It's like a hybrid digital sales person! Once you have your base products in the system, you can then configure special offers, upsells, cross sells, downsells, limited offers, availability stats, etc

So if you are committed to increasing profitability and spend per customer, this is the only system you should look at setting up. You can easily increase your sales by 20% - 50% by upselling so this is the easiest way I know of to do that.

If you're looking for some help with things just get in touch with me anytime. For anyone that is interested in the features I've just mentioned, I highly recommend looking at nanacast as it really is the most powerful and user friendly product/payment system I know of that doesn't involve expensive programmers and tech people.

    enjoy

oh I should also mention... the power of nanacast also is in their web2.0 features for the ability to instantly setup membership sites without backend scripts. You can intelligently monetise anything from media casts to blogs and the output is RSS based so you can plugin your content and have it spread viral.

I really do love their system!

sorry if I sound like a salesman for nanacast, I'm just passionate about technology that is easy to use and greatly increases sales turnover and conversions. My entire network of info products, courses and membership sites are in the process of being converted to nanacast so you'll hear more from me on the subject (war room tutorial coming soon)

      Hey Robert,

Nick made several good points here. As long you have a download link to your products, Nanacast can do everything else you were requesting. In other words, they're not going to host your products for you. They can do affiliate tracking for shipping as well.

Since you have over 1,000 products to integrate, you'll have to talk with support about specifics. As far as support, you may want to be logged-in when you do, I've never had it go back to the landing page.

With all your products, Nick mentioned what is really solid for someone with alot of products, is that you can literally shuffle products and marketing funnels around on the fly for a variety of promotions.
