Default DirectoryBot Questions

Hello,

Kind of a long post, but I hope to get a few questions answered:

I've used DirectoryBot on a few test sites now and it seems to be a good piece of software, I like the interface (as with the other programs from incansoft), but have a couple of questions. Maybe other users or the creator can chime in:

1. I noticed that some of the sites that are labeled as 'no captcha' actually have captchas when you look at the confirmation screen after submission. I have not gone in and matched up those to see if I got confirmation emails yet, thought I'd ask why they show up this way first. Has anyone noticed if they are they still submitting?

2. I get a lot of confirmation emails right after submission but have gotten only a handful of emails saying my link has been added over the course of a few weeks. I know not all directories will send emails after a link has been approved (I run a few so I know it's optional), but it seems odd that I've gotten only a few from submitting multiple sites to 500+ directories at a time. Maybe the sites are that hammered with submissions - I'd like to hear about backlinks that people have seen over the course of a few months if anyone has used it that long. This is a bigger question about the quality of the directories included...

3. Ever a possibility to be able to add to the list of directories? I noticed some PHPLD directories in there, and it would be nice to be able to manually add those to the list, similar to the way Articlebot works. If the directory uses a specific script, etc it can be added.

On a separate note I look forward to the update of Articlebot that allows for spinner syntax on the body of the article submissions.

Thanks.

If I can help with the phpLD directories, let me know. Possibly we could make it easier for phpLD directory owners to be more open to the article bot (though for submitting links this is not very feasible, as they do indeed get hammered if left too open).

I'd also have some questions regarding directorybot. For instance I do get lot's of failure messages, but still I do get confirmation emails that must have come from those sites.
