I still haven't ordered Stompernet!!

But it has been hard to resist.

I almost do not want to order simply to prove that it is possible to live and learn without it.

I think there are 24 hours before all the bonuses dissappear. Oh really??

I am hovering here with my credit card even as I speak/write

What should I do?

If not, I would keep it that way. So far I haven't t seen any one happy with it.

No one has gotten their stuff yet

As for the OP, don't NOT get it just to prove a point. Take a long hard look at it and see if it can improve your business. Can it add to your bottom line or not? If it can, and it's something that fits into your business plan it would be silly not to get it. If it doesn't fit into what you're doing or you're going through other materials then it would be silly TO get it.

I got it because it's perfect for where I'm at right now.

I really do not want to order but I am worried that this might be the greatest thing since sliced bread

I do not know what to do.

i know for sure that the newsletter will sit around and gather dust so there is no point me subscribing.

          Problmes, problems

          OK

          Decision made

I will be the only pertson here NOT to order Stompernet

          How does that sound?

I didn't order either... Couldn't see myself spending money on a training program, no matter how great it is, when I could not possibly spend time studying up.

Do you even have 3-4 hours every week to go through their materials. Chances are- if you are a good time manager you can find them. But then if you're a good time manager, you should already be in control of your life and where its headed, shouldn't you be?

Does anyone know when this is going to ship?

Not too worried about it- but just curious. I looked through a few past emails and didn't see anything. I am sick and a bit loopy with the Nyquil and all, so I probably overlooked the email.

Oh... I would order it. Low cost and looks like a lot of excellent value. Not a lot to lose if you ask me.

Kinda hard to argue value with guys who have an $800/month coaching program.

I did not order it, but to let you know I did order Kern's Mass Control so I am susceptible to good marketing, hype, etc.

I agree with Jenn and Jay, if it is not going to be useful to you right away skip it. All that it contains most likely will flow out here soon enough anyway.

It's different for each individual, and your own decision to make.

My advice would be: buy a product only if you can think of practical ways to use it that will move your business forward. If you can't, then don't buy.

It also depends on what products you already have. If you've recently bought 3 SEO products eg. then I'd say work with those first. No point in throwing money around moving from one buy to the next, because there's going to be a new product launched every week that sounds great, but by buying them all your just making other people rich.

    Just my opinion.

Have you decided yet Kenj? :-)

    Take care,
    Jim B.

I decided half an hour ago NOT to order

But I am worried that I am missing out on some important information
How much new stuff can there be out there?

Also it seems to me that ordering stompernet is like a rite of passage for internet marketers.

Can you imagine me not ordering it and feeling sure it was the right way to go?

        • hmmmm ok, well that's interesting reasoning.

I haven't ordered yet either, but if "it is obviously the best offer I have ever come across" I think I would order (especially since all you pay initially is $10 bucks).

It deals with understanding SEO. Not Internet Marketing but normal SEO practice and so I can say it's great. I hate fluffy-over-the-top IM stuff.

Personal opinion.... go do research on normal SEO practices and its the same thing.

          Wow...

I'm in a tough position, because I'm a JV Partner - so I probably shouldnt even reply to this post. Except that what I have to say in response is genuine. How about we make a deal? If you come across my link from this post, dont use it. Fair? I would like for my response to "count".

KenJ - if you are making a 6-figure income online and enjoy top 3 rankings in Google (which has 80% of the market share in search) across the board (for almost every page or web property you own)... then you are right. You dont need to take them up on this special offer.

Have you reviewed The Net Effect, or seen any reviews of it yet? It is not a newsletter or a magazine. I have a video that shows whats inside if you want to take a closer look (youtube.com/lynnterry). I'm no newbie, and I plan to stay subscribed - its *that* good.

I got started online in the 90's, before there were guides and reports and software products to make this stuff easier. Talk about learning the hard way. I was just talking with my readers about that today - how I put in 16-18 hour days during my start-up years with my online business. And how I learned SEO? I stumbled upon my site stats one day and once I figured out how to read them (lol)... I realized how much money I was losing. Talk about an eye-opener. I was getting TONS of search engine traffic all of a sudden, but I wasnt monetizing it at all. Which started my quest to learn SEO (and let me tell ya, there's A LOT of bad information out there!).

And while you're considering that this is a "launch" (and the stigma that goes with that these days)... also consider that this "free" thing is a phase. I've seen a lot of IM phases in my years. Free content, paid content, membership sites, high-ticket items, $7 reports... and now FREE. None of those phases lasted all that long. I dont expect this one will either. My personal opinion? Why not take advantage of it...

Also, you wont be the only one who didnt order - if you dont. Only about 15,000 packages are going out (as of now). That's a small number compared to the number of people involved or interested in IM.

    Prove to whom?

    Nobody's watching.

The only thing that matters is that you achieve what you want. And even when that happens, no one will care about your success as much as you will.

What will happen when something that can really improve your business comes by your desk next time? Will you use the same argument to talk yourself out of it?

    Probably.

      Well Jason

I think I agree with that.

I do not honestly think that stompernet will change my bottom line in any way at all.

I think I have all the resources I need already

If it weren't for the monthly newsletter thing I would have been first in line to get all the free stuff.

I honestly do not think that The newsletter will bring me increased income over and above what I earn now

Order it. I've been doing the "learn it yourself" way for far too long and these guys KNOW their stuff. Especially about SEO which would be very expensive and time consuming to learn on your own.

Don't NOT order it to prove a point, they've done all the hard work already. Man power, their own money, backed by the income to prove it works. I, and I suspect you too, don't have the income or time to play the search engines and discover what they already know. It's only about $9

...and oh yeah, there's TONS of bonuses. The offer was irresistible without the bonuses...

I'm not sure about Adam - but Don I know (Don Crowther - behind the SMARTS program end of StomperNet). There is actually quite an impressive team involved... including Ed Dale, Howie Schwartz, Dan Thies, Jerry West, Dave Taylor, Sherman Hu (and thats just off the top of my head).

They've pulled quite a crew together in the last few years.

Don't buy anything that has a time limit to it. If its any good it will still be there tomorrow. I replied to an e-mail offering me a gift and when I got to the site it had a time clock ticking down from a couple of hours. I went back to the site later that day and the clock started ticking down again from a couple of hours.

Not always true, Norma. Tax-free weekend, Black Friday, One-day sales and Blue Light Specials come to mind. They work...

As for online, I think we're all familiar with the fake countdowns. They arent at all effective anymore for the very reason you mentioned. But that doesnt undermine true special offers.

Here's what I wrote in my review of STSE2:

The course is ideal for someone who:

          * Is familiar with the Internet - this course is NOT suitable if you’re still working out what a URL is; and
          * Keen to focus on SEO as a way of generating targeted traffic. SEO takes concerted, ongoing effort - it’s not something you can simply “set and forget”, especially if you’re in a competitive niche. So too, this course will only be useful to someone who really wants to focus on SEO - and is willing to put time and effort into it - in order to generate traffic. In fact, I’d urge you to ONLY get this course if you regard SEO as one of your CORE strategies to generate traffic.

It’s also suitable for someone who has focused on SEO in the past, has let it slide in recent times, and is looking for a refresher on old concepts and a heads up on the latest developments (guilty as charged!)

The course is NOT suitable for someone who:

          * Already eats, breathes and lives SEO - you won’t learn much.
          * Is looking for a “push button” way to generate traffic. SEO isn’t “push button” and neither is this course (well, apart from pressing “play” in order to watch the DVD-ROMs!).

            I need a refresher.

Does it focus on keyword techniques such and content, density and other various on page factors?

Does it focus on traffic issues or generating traffic through various channels such as rss and social networks?

Does it focus on page and site design and site linking structure?

The few free videos you can find on stompernet free done by Andy are great. I would not call them advanced SEO even though some would say they are. The reason I do not call them advance even though they are is that Andy presents the material in such a way then even a begginer could follow if you know how to create a basic site.

Those few free videos are what convinced me to buy. The only downside to making the purchase was having to go through all the other one time offers that lloked good but I have learned to discipline myself to only buy the initial product I purchased.

Go take a look ... at the free vids at stompernet

I think good product is not just about how great infos it provided.
It's about how much it can get client to implement the knowledge to their business.

    Why?
I'm sure if you buy a few top seller books from Amazon and actually have time to read them. You will see that infos they provided is not so different, but it is just much more fun and entertain to consume when you learn from StomperNet.

So I will buy their membership if they know how to entertain and motivate me enough to take action on their selected topics. Because I just like fun and stress free life, not money itself!

I am ending my first 30 days of membership, and am leaning heavily towards canceling. I never got my bonus package; but that is secondary. I joined mostly because of the tools. I figured it would be a nice convenient way to have them all under one roof, with the added bonus of training/ community. While I still like the tools quite a bit; I find the portal clunky and a bit discombobulated. Also, much of my first 30 days have been spent waiting for the tools to arrive. I emailed them, and they have extended my membership for 10 days. We'll see what happens; but if I had to hazard a guess right now, I would say I will be canceling.

Either they are part of the package or they are another pile of stuff you never needed any way!

    Beware of cheap upfront bait...

    You guys already know enough!
    You read enough posts...
    Just DO IT!
You all be better off spending your time putting up niche wp blog sites. Just one a day! Slap in a optin form build a list, get links with articles and other free sites like Squidoo/hubpages. 10 minutes for keyword research... it's free with google by the way!

If you can do all over above for 6 months you'll have a massive web empire... and you don't have to make cringe worthy videos driving around in cars saying how great life is.

Try Hairloss for a niche. Vain men buy any crap! Even if it does not work.
Sell the dream... but don't you buy it!

I would love to hear the inside dope on that. For all of those guys to have left, something had to be going on behind the scenes.

I canceled. The discombobulation of the portal, and avalanche of affiliate mailings I got after joining turned me off. I will say, however, they have an impressive group of tools.

Just like Mike F. I'm bombarded by his junk mail everyday. I have to find time to cancel alot of the lists that I'm on.

I did their 9 day free course a month or so ago. Good but repetitive info in the free stuff they gave out, though it was over 120 hours of video alone and I haven't been able to watch it all.

They seem like a good crew. I did hear there were 'clashes' of egos among the brass and apparently some have left it. Rumors to me as I never bothered to try and see if any of the rumors were true. In the end, it was the hype that turned me away. I think I have become 'hype-adverse', Lol. Then when they brought on Infusionsoft, I was very happy I had not joined. (I don't like them.)

Like any 'program' it probably has pluses and minuses. Personally, I am on to other things I feel are more pertinent to what I am doing. Speaking of doing, I got to go do stuff,
