Has anyone had any dealings with this autoresponder? I'd put the link here but I'm fairly new and you have to have a lot of posts before the warrior boss allows it. so key in the www your self and follow it with freefollowup.com Apparently it's a one time fee and then it's good for life. I keep hearing about aweber but they are 19 bucks a month. So if this freefollowup one is for real it would be a good deal. Anyone comment? |

There is not much in the way of contact information on that website. Management of your mailing list is critical to your income. If you really want to go the free / low cost route go for self-hosted, e.g., Infinite Responder. But most IMers seem to think that Aweber and Getresponse are worth the money. |

My hosting is done by hostgator. You mean I would have to become a reseller or hosting company myself to use Infinite responder?

Kinda new at this stuff but Aweber works ok for me and I barely know how to send out a newsletter.

I would recommend going with a reputable company like Aweber. When it comes to building your list you want to make sure that it is going to get great deliverability and that the company will stay in business. Your list can make you a ton of money and it is not worth risking all the hard work to save $20 a month trust me. Ryan |

Companies like AWeber, and GetResponse work very hard with the Internet Service Providers to ensure that your e-mails get delivered in people's inbox --not in their spam folder, or worse are getting blocked by the ISP. Pierre. | |

for startup you might use them but then again it comes to trust and service that companies like aweber and getresponse are giving from all these years.

How would you like it if only 1 out of 20 email messages that you send make it to your subscribers? I have heard of this happening with some Autoresponder services. You don't want to mess around when it comes to email and autoresponders. If you get blacklisted, you are screwed. The free or onetime fee autoresponders might sound like a good deal until you are blacklisted. Then you will realize it is the worst deal ever. Your list is the life blood of your business. Don't mess around, get a professional autoreponder service like Aweber. They have teams of people keeping their customers off blacklists. Their deliverability is top-notch. |

I think that for most folks, there is a place for both a service like AWeber and a Script which you pay for once, and install and run from your website hosting space. There advantages and disadvantages for both. So, I dont think it is always an either/or decision. John |

I agree with the above ideas. Autoresponder service is critial to success. The $18./month I pay GetResponse is worth it's weight in gold. |
