If you are trying to create landing pages then you have plenty of options.

If you are talking about creating basically a sequence of landing pages as per Jeff Walker style sideways sales letter then you don't need anything as complicated or expensive as the two options you list.

You can build them with plain old html.

You can use a page builder like Lead Pages or Clickfunnels or use a variety of themes for wordpress like OptimizePress, Thrive or Instabuilder, Thesis etc etc.

It depends on what your abilities are.

Do you need an "all-in one" solution?

Can you code?

What features do you need?

Infusion and Ontraport are basically enhanced CRMs or auto responders on steroids.

As page builders they may not be as easy to use as more friendly solutions.

A product launch sequence of pages is really several pages with additional videos or features unlocked as the prospect progresses through the sequence.

You can make these sequence of pages and couple any opt-in form to any auto responder to direct the prospect to the next URL where you show the next page.

Everyone has their preferences depending on what they regularly use.

Personally I like Clickfunnels at the moment and depending on your level you can access their affiliate system and also an enhanced auto responder called "actionetics"

You can do the same things with other combinations of things.

It comes down to what you want to pay and whether you can leverage the tools at your disposal.

Your question should probably be more like. . .

"How can I set up a product launch for THIS and will it convert?"

If you have a product that converts then the cost of any solution becomes insignificant.

Asking what is better between Infusion and Ontraport is just academic because there are a ton of Warriors who will tell you why not use Nanacast, Cloudnet 360, GetResponse, Aweber.

The truth is to spend more mental energy on the product development than the tools required.

You can o a full product launch with nothing more than wordpress and an email account or auto-responder. . .oh. , . and a payment processor.

Don't get hung up on the "bells and whistles".
