Default Are Ready-made Amazon affiliates sites a winner?

I got word about the following opportunity:

Make Money From Amazon Affiliate Marketing On Amazon

It's apparently a ready-made, "business in a box" Amazon review site - or a whole set of them...

I can see the logic in this, but have reservations...

The pitch is good, but the earnings evidence is a little sketchy to me...

It's mostly "you could make X" or "Amazon is great at upselling, so..."

It is, I think, VERY expensive (compared to what normally gets charged for these sort of ventures) and it isn't backed up by any guarantees...

I was just wondering whether the posters here have made any big money as an Amazon affiliate, whether the earnings potential IS good and whether this is a good opportunity...

Your thoughts, please?!

I myself tend to dislike "business in a box" type products because of general saturation.

Think about it, you, and say 100 other affiliates, all are attempting to market 1 niche together with the same template, with the same products being reviewed. Compound that fact with the low affiliate commissions to be had by marketing Amazon products, it seems a general waste.

Now, that being said, I know of many individuals making a killing as an Amazon affiliate, but the key to their success (as far as I can tell) is by their large volume of sales being made. Furthermore, they target lower competition products with higher search volume.

Essentially, if I were you and were interested in making any type of income with Amazon as an affiliate, I'd suggest the standard niche research, launch a Wordpress based site, use the Wordpress review plugin one of the fellow Warriors created (I can't remember the plugin name, or the guy that wrote it, sorry), and build your business.

Just my $.02

Good luck.

Thanks very much, Rhett...

I appreciate your input and that you took the time to share that...

Can anyone remember the name of that plugin?

PS the plugin used in this case is most likely Lunatic Studios| WP Amazon Autoposter
Now this is a product that I would definitely consider, as you appear to have the ability to move freely in terms of product choice---what exactly you would like to market. By default, you could track down a solid niche with a high payout, and then create your site; rinse and repeat.
