Millionaire Maker Loral Langemeier

I heard the ad for this product over and over on the radio (Talk Radio). I called in and for $9.95 shipping :-) I got her **FREE** book 274 pages and a CD of Loral on a training call. On the phone they wanted me to try her full course free for 30 days, and if I didn't cancel it would be so much a Month for the next three Months. I'm reading and listening now. I might post a review when I finish.

Meanwhile has any body got anything to share about this lady and her training? Anyone take her full course? Successes? Failures?

Anything will be appreciated,
Thanks,
Ron

Read one of her books, "The Millionaire Maker's Guide to Creating a Cash Machine for Life ," and found it a worthwhile read. Essentially I distill it to this for the people I talk with:

Take what you want to make per year and divide it by the number of sales opportunity days you have (dotcom's = 365 days, regular M-F jobs approximately 280 days). This gives you a dollar amount to strive for each day.

    Eg. $100,000 per year equals:

    ~$274/day for dotcom folks
    ~$357/day for M-F 9-to-5'ers

The book dwelves deeper into planning to hit those goals, choosing your "team", etc. Good book though - (Anything where I can pull out one useful bit makes it worthwhile to me).

    YMMV.

Oh Yes MM the phone has been ringing off the hook. and guess what? They now, (by phone) tell me that I have a free 30 day access to their help line and if I don't call to cancel they will take $29.95 per month from the credit card I used to pay the shipping cost.
This was not mentioned at all in the original phone call. Pretty sneaky IMHO

I listened to the CD and found it interesting. A step by step plan for getting out of debt, and building wealth. Reading the book now.

It's what is referred to as a "forced continuity" - and it is used a lot. Chances are if you read all the fine print you would have seen it even thought some marketers go to great lengths so you don't notice it.

As for the phone calls, you may find in the "terms" that they can and will distribute your personal information. It's usually there - people don't read it.

The title gives the impression she can make you a millionaire, you can create a cash machine - these are buzzwords in the earn income online niche. A "review" would be whether the step by step worked and created the results you expected. If this report had been 9.95 with free shipping - would you have purchased it?

I'm not knocking you or the product here - just advising you to read copy from a marketer's standpoint rather than from a buyer's. Know what the buzzwords are that get results - why it works better for her to offer "free" but high shipping - why she offers a freebie and how it leads into a monthly membership agreement.

Look at the process of selling and why it works - how good ads and copywriting lead customers to buy, etc. Analyze the claims and hype, read the disclaimers and terms closely, count the upsells. You will see a pattern - and THAT is often the best step by step you can learn.

Just from the info here it seems this seller planned well:

-free product promoting make big money = lots of attention
-shipping charge = profit may be built in there/ no refunds on shipping
-links in book to other products = commission
-selling leads to other marketers or a leads company
-creating a monthly income with a forced continuity for a membership
-list building to create future sales

There you go - the famous "multiple streams of income" - and the goal is to do that with each customer who gets the "free" CD. Is that the step by step plan in the book?. Probably not.

I haven't read her book, but I doubt its anything revolutionary. Probably just investment advice for stocks and real estate or something similar. Its possible to make lots of money in real estate or in stocks, but I don't get the feeling she is the one to be "teaching" this. If you google her name with scam or review I'm sure lots of helpful hints will appear.

If its like the Rich Dad Poor Dad series, expect to be up sold to coaching and seminars.

Do her programs work? Well I don't know, but you can def. make money in the stock market and real estate...

I tend to agree with you - but the point is not to look at whether this is "a book that will make money for you" - but to look at the sales process this person is using to bring people into HER sales funnel.

Depends on the person. Not everyone wants to examine a direct sales process because not everyone wants to sell information like she does. If I go to her to learn to invest in real estate then thats what I want to learn.

But the majority of these "make money gurus" make there money selling information, not on there advice. Investing in stocks and real estate can make you even more money than just selling "how to" information if you know what you're doing..

If you're a direct marketer and you just want to buy a product to look at the sales process then thats what you do. It really all depends what you want to get out of the experience of it.

Regardless of what you want out of it- here information isn't anything great, so I here.

I guess we'll see what the OP thoughts are on this...

Here's the thing, I only gave my CC# to pay for the shipping, nothing was ever said on the initial call, about a continuity program. I heard about that when they followed up with a call to me. Kay, you're right Loral has really got it going when it comes to a good marketing plan. I just feel the use of my card without permission is a little bogus. Not to mention deceptive and slimey

I agree it's slimey - but it's not unusual to have forced continuity. I don't like them myself - but marketers use them here and there and some sellers such as those for beauty products have done it routinely for years.

What I wonder is - were you able to cancel the continuity on the second call when they told you about it?

This is precisely why they ask you to pay for shipping and handling - to get your CC for a forced continuity program. 99.9% of people don't realise it, but free except for shipping almost always means you're being enrolled in some kind of subscription.

The better companies will tell you upfront.

                On topic:

Loral's plan isn't a bad one, to my mind, but I've read three of her books and they all are entirely lacking in actual detail - so if you're smart enough and skilled enough to actually do what she says effectively, it'll work.

They are pretty handy for motivation, and they're fairly fun to read.

                  2 years on.....

I'm attending her Cash Flow Workshop this coming October in Melbourne , Australia and looking forward to it.

The reason I am attending is to help me sort out where I am going and to build a real business upon it.

I've been reading her books, listening to her audios and I've already got a new outlook on things...

I will be reporting back on this...

Has anyone here ever been on one of her workshops?

                  Cheers

That's total crap. When you pay for shipping, that's all it's for ... nothing more, nothing less. Anything more MUST be disclosed.

It's illegal to enroll anyone into a continuity program without their permission, period, end of story. It's called "blind continuity", and it's against both FTC guidelines, and Visa/MC regulations.

When you paid for shipping, if that's all you agreed to, that's all you can legally be charged for ...

If Loral's company is doing blind enrollments into a continuity program, she's in for a world of hurt.

And, I quoted this particular response for a reason... It's not the "better companies" that will tell you upfront about continuity, it's ALL companies that are operating legally.

To the OP, if you're really enrolled in a continuity program, I'd suggest you call them right away, and ask them to provide proof of your enrollment ... and proof that you agreed to enrollment. I don't know who she's using for taking orders, but I'd be willing to bet she doesn't know they are using blind enrollment.

And in the above he states he was informed of trying the full course for 30 days Free when he made the initial purchase....

If Ron said - No Thanks - and they kept charging him, then it's a problem.

I'm a little confused that Ron later states he wasn't aware of this until they called him on a follow up call.

I'm not so sure this was a case of "blind continuity" but I may have misread what Ron stated and stand to be corrected.

The trap is of course - they are hoping that you think "30 days for Free - no problem", and then forget you have joined up.

I've never heard of any other marketers using that ploy before. ( Yes that was sarcastic!)

Which raises the point of - if you do join something that has a free or cheap trial period - Find out how to cancel before saying yes ( sometimes very hard to find afterwards ).

If you do say No and have given your CC Details for shipping or whatever, make a note in a calendar prior to when the payments start, just to make sure they are not charging you.

    Cheers

All I'm going to say is... if you get the opportunity to attend one of Loral's Cash Machine Workshops - just go...

It was simply amazing and a great networking opportunity.

No one who attended was disappointed in any shape or form, so yes, thats a big statement, but it's a case of people who went wanted to go, and they got out of it what they expected plus a lot more.

      I know I did....
