| Dragon naturally speaking software is a lifesaver for affiliate marketers. I just purchased my copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking Standard Edition. this software is saving me tons of time! I wrote my first article in under three minutes using this software. If you are a beginning affiliate marketer, intermediate, or advanced. This software is a must have, especially if you are a slow typer. I would recommend Dragon voice recognition software to anyone. it evens the playing field quite significantly! Anyone else loving this software as much as me? |

yeah I love it I have the prefered version, it is pretty killer. I am pretty old school so I still write my articles down on paper first, so instead of typing them up I can just read them off. |

I think a good strategy is to think about 3-4 main points, write them down, and then talk about them - one paragraph each. This way you can stay organised, because - and I don't know if many people are like me - you might have 1000 things going through your head at the same time. This way you can stay on-point.

I heard it was one of the best out there, but how does it handle the Australian/kiwi accent? I read because our accents are a little different that it struggled to recognize certain words, what's your experience with it? Cheers, Charann.

I love using DNS, but have found that it still needs careful editing. Even after using it for close to a year, it still doesn't properly recognize all of my words...and I have an American midwest accent, about as "plain vanilla" as they come. But I've also heard that accuracy improves with microphone quality (mine is cheap). Audre |

I believe that the Bigpond phone system uses a Dragon-type engine, and it's great at recognising Aussie accents. When I was working with Bigpond 15 months ago ( ), they said that Scottish accents were the only ones that the voice recognition had trouble with LOL.Our accents are fine.

I tried it a while ago and I have an Australian accent. It would constantly give me weird words... I guess I could try it again with a better microphone. J

Get a decent mike for $100 or so and you should notice the difference.

I've just started using it, and during the set up was very surprised (and somewhat relieved) that under the voice accent drop down box, it actually had Southern United States. I didn't know that us folks from Georgia had an accent...
