I currently use adwords and microniche which seem to work well but I'm always looking for something better. I am hearing wordtracker isn't reliable anymore, which is the best keyword tool right now? |

Market Samurai is. I really love that tool. The keyword research tool is for free. Some other, very cool, modules within Market Samurai you can get in the paid version. Make sure to do the 30 Day Challenge 2009(free and excellent internet marketing course). http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com/ The 30 Day challenge team makes use of Market Samurai and give detailed lessons on how to use Market Samurai. Watch the Market Samurai's 3 golden rules of SEO: Overview: Golden rule#1: Target keywords with traffic. Golden rule#2: Target keywords with high profit potential. Golden rule#3: Target keywords with low competition. |

Google's Adwords tool (free) combined with both Market Samurai and Micro Niche Finder (both paid). Sean Donohoe's Keyword WSO is also top notch stuff.

I use google adwords tool to tell me the amount of traffic per month for a keyword. then I use market samurai to check out the onpage and offpage competetition to check out whether I compete. Its simple to use and well laid out with many other features.

No program is perfect by itself. The secret is to use a few. I usually just use Googles free tool, Market Samurai, and Keyword elite 2.0. ![]() Zach |

I would like to put in a vote for Traffic Travis (crappy name, but great program!). Sorry, Mark if you are reading this, but it is a crappy name! :-) There is a free version and a paid version, so you can have a play around with it and see if you like it. Even the free version has a lot of great features, so it is well worth a look. I have the Pro version myself, and love it! Terry |

I use Googles free keyword tool. I have an early version of Keyword Elite but I kept getting blocked by Google when running a process. You know, "too many search queries." I'm wondering if that has been fixed with Keyword Elite version 2? Steve |

I think the mostly used are Wordtracker and Google Adwords.

If you are using a Wordpress blog for keyword research and analysis, try Daniel Lew's revolutionary Keyword Winner. But for standalone sites rather than Wordpress, Market Samurai is the best out there.
