There are many threads on the WF about keyword tools such as Market Samurai, Keyword Elite, etc., etc. These are great tools, but are geared more towards adwords, rather than adsense. By that I mean they all show the CPC (cost per click) of any given keyword, but not the EPC (earnings per click). In other words they show how much it costs to use these KW's on adwords, but not how much the big G pays out to publishers for those keywords. Anyone who uses adsense knows that there is a HUGE gap between the CPC and the actual EPC. This is of course how Google makes its money. Let me give you an example: tennessee mesothelioma attorney has a CPC of $84.96 Wow! phenomenal, except when you check it against the EPC of $0.35!!! Starting to see why Google is so big yet? So, if you've been disappointed by your adsense earnings compared to what you though you would get, this explains why. This is not to slag off MS or KE or any other kw tools, they all work great, but for adwords, compettiton, etc., and not for adsense. The only tool you should use to determine potential earnings is: Keyword Country Obligatory caveats: I have no experience or knowledge of the new Keyword Elite 2.0, so my assessment of what KE does is based on the previous version. As with any kw tool, the figures quoted for both CPC and EPC are ballpark figures and should not be taken as gospel. Heck even, the kw finder by Google is estimates/guesstimates anyway. Enjoy |

In fact, the highest CPC I could find was under $30 - and that's unlikely to be content network ads either.

I used keyword country back in the day and made money from the keywords i found then. I'm using other keyword tools now and am still making money. Funny how that works. It's all in how you use the tool.

Would you say that Keyword Country has improved since then? You obviously find the tools above a good combo for you. Would they work well with the Xfactor method, do you think? So many tools! There's Market Samurai, too, of course. Scotty
