Dreamhost, have you used them?

Hi,
I have been using Dreamhost for the last 1 1/2 years and find that most of my websites load quick slowly. Even new websites that I have created with only 1 or 2 pages load slowly.
I am just wondering if anyone else has this problem with them.
I am thinking of trying Hostgator (although they do seem expensive), as they seem to get good reviews from users on this forum, what do you think?

    I have used dreamhost for years and not had any problems. Have you raised a support ticket? They may be able to move you to another server.

      Hi Wardo,
      Yes I raised a support ticket and they said it could be one of my plugins, I have tried disabling them but after a while my site still goes very slow. To be honest I have gone around in circles with them but nothing has resolved the problem.
      I might just give hostgator a try.
