Hey guys,

I just managed to install the Dragon NaturallySpeaking software and I am deeply impressed.

Have any of you warrior forum members had any kind of experience with that software?

Please write your reviews here and share your experiences.

My own personal experience, so far, have been excellent! In fact, I am writing this post with the help off Dragon NaturallySpeaking and I am deeply surprised how accurate it understands my words and translates them into the written word.

I actually bought Dragon Naturally Speaking years ago, but never used it. I wish I knew where I stashed it, as I hear you can use it as a tool to "write" articles a bit faster, since we tend to speak faster than we type.

I have looked at reviews on Amazon some good and some bad. The worrying thing some people mentioned that it was difficult to install.

In the end I saw it for sale at a really good price so I actually tried to buy from a company yesterday but my computer went on a go slow and I gave up. I'm going to try again tonight to buy really excited.

As I'm struggling a bit with writing artivlces and content I feel I have little to lose.

I use it every day.

I write articles and blog posts with it.

I have the 'Preferred' version, which is required if you are going to use a voice recorder with it. That way, when I'm not at my computer, I can still use it. I keep my little Sony voice recorder with me and dictate articles into it, like when I'm sitting in my car.

I have to make maybe 3 corrections on a 500-word article, unless there are some kind of technical words, then maybe a few more.

I type REALLY fast, but I find that when I talk, the content is a lot meatier...I add a lot of 'color' when I'm chatting.

Yes, it is extremely useful for articles. Currently I am experimenting with the 9.0 version, I managed to obtain the professional version with service pack 1.

I find that I "type" much faster than by hand. I have tried several applications that do the same thing, turn voice into text, but this program is by far the most advanced one on the market.

I'm going to start to use it everywhere I can. The only difficult now is to think fast enough in order to make a normal sentence...

Since English is not my primary language, although I am fluent in it, I still find it extremely useful for writing blog posts, articles, e-books, e-mail and all sorts of documents.

Soon I hope to gather enough funds from Internet marketing to be able to afford the newest version of the software, from what I saw on their homepage the 10.1 version is much more faster and greatly improved so I really hope that I will be able to get my hands on that version.

On a fast machine, DNS is amazing! Liberating even.

There are major raves about it throughout WF.
Now that we have the speed : )

What's the best system for approaching articles with DNC.
Top ezine research, amazon method. Create bullets heads, themes, objective, etc

Sadly, article wizardry is not included

Any strategies thoughts or pointers?

Man, I had that program in 2007, and I tired using it but found it to be horrible for my purposes. I was having some pain in my fingers and wrists, so I wanted to just dictate instead of type for any sessions of writing, but it had to "learn" my voice and speech patterns, and I really didn't have the patience for it. Then, when I did use it after "training" sessions, I had some success, but I had to speak ... Very.... Slowly.... So .... Carefully..... Enunciating.... Each.... Word. Blah. I gave my copy away. I hope the guy who I gave it to was able to do something more than I was with it. I didn't like it at all.

The new version is supposed to be much better and more accurate than even the previous release version. I bought a headset with the intention of buying DNS, but I keep wandering off before I actually make it the point of finding a good price somewhere.

Hey guys,

I just managed to obtain the version 10 of the software, the preferred version, and so far it works really good, I have slight problems with some of the pronunciation, but I think this is because the training session is not the same as in the version 9.

The only thing different, to my opinion, seems to be the bar that the version 9 had extended to fit across the whole screen - now it's a compressed version of the same which you can drag around your screen.

The speed seems to be really good and the precision is a bit better than the version 9, but I have yet to train it a bit more to gain on it.

I'm looking forward to see more reviews,

I have version 10 myself and find it to be quite useful for blogging, article writing and reviews. The more that you use it and train it for your voice charateristics, the better the results.
