Membership Site Scripts

Are there any good membership site scripts out there? I need one that will work with clickbank,paypal and aweber. My last one was ok but its sort of a bust as everything is encrypted which makes it a real nightmare for my affiliates.

Looking for some feedback and suggestions on scripts you have used and if you could some examples of sites you have running or are running the script currently.

Joomla with the AEC plug-in works for me (and the price is right).

i dont know if it works with all of them, but i use Amember with wordpress. it works good for me in combination with DLgaurd.

InstantMember.

Can't say anything but how great it is. Really a wonderful script. Protects everything, has integration with almost everything and support is there for you when you need them.

Oh and it's damn simple to use/admin.

Best money i've spent last month.

actually instant member is the one I hate right now I used it on my most recent product launch and its murder if you want to customize anything on it everything is encrypted and your affiliate links turn into a huge jumble of letters and numbers. Other then that its a great script looking for more suggestions unless these other guys get theirs custom programed?

Taking a look around a bit more here I found some plugin membership scripts for wordpress anyone have any exp. with anything like this.

I want to create a few sites.
1. My own PLR site *will buy content and even create my own content to give out to my members only
2. Take other PLR products rewrite them and rebrand them into my own products for resell

Need clickbank, paypal and aweber to work with the script.

Could really use some help been searching for hours and now im in information overload lol

Been doing some more research still with no luck. I might take a look into DL guard a bit more and just skip the members area and instead just capture leads off the main page via some bonus offer.

I would not really recommend Instantmember if you are into customizing your membership site. For me it was a real pain in the butt to do what I wanted it to you can not get into the code at all.

I have been generally pleased with amember and all its plugins. For the most part it seems to work out of the box and very logically laid out.

Only issue is that they dont do much in terms of product support ..... so just hope it works as designed.

Amember, i've tested most scripts and nothing can beat it..

I've always found that email support is good but don't rely on the forum

Sean,

People love to use out of the box scripts that DO WORK and have support. InstantMember has both. Besides, you can upload your header/footer to your membership site.

Any of the other top membership scripts does not provide open code - I CAN GUESS.

Asking for a top notch script with open code is suicidal cause if it's open for large customization, it's open for everything... (it gets vulnerable).

Just my 2 cents since i code all my stuff and this is the best script I've found after paying and testing 2 other membership site scripts INCLUDING one top Wordpress Plugin that DOES NOT protect your folders inside your wp install.

P.S.: The scripts support is good, 24 hours MAX to get your emails answered. Beat that.

Wishlist Member is awesome if you're going with Wordpress.

I've heard aMember is great as well but haven't personally used.

I use wishlist for my membership site (Wordpress) and so far it works great. I'm using the exact combination of wordpress, clickbank, and aweber.

Customers sign up on clickbank the data is then passed to my site and they are able to register and get access to the product they purchased. Also on registration, the customer's email is automatically added to my aweber list for that product. Very nice.

Also, the WishList "how to" video tutorials are top notch and the support desk response time is great.

BTW - I'm in the process of adding another product using paypal. As soon as I do, I'll give an update

I tested wishlist a couple months back but found it not integrated with Aweber well. Is the problem solved?

Yes, it seems to be. I added the feature to my site about 1 month ago and it works perfectly.

I like the butterfly marketing script (Mike Filsaime). I'm a member in an Amember site but i haven't seen the back end yet (only the front end). What are folks paying for the other membership sites that are deemed affordable?

You may want to try Delavo (created by a fellow warrior John Delavera). Its like a shell and you can create different types of membership. After trying out several software, I now use Delavo for all of my sites.

The core Delavo is free and if you want a copy of it, send me a PM.

Very good thread, guys... Now I'm interested to try instant member.

Purchased Delavo and aMember, haven't put Delavo on actual website though.

Installed amember on 1 website, but replaced it with BM.

I recommend these 3 script :

1. Mike Filsame's BM script.I have been using butterfly marketing script for a while, it's great. But has lot of issues. If you are a member, you can find tons of bugs reports at the forum. But, it has reached v 2.12. More stable, haven't encoutered any problem yet. OTO2 (lower price after 2nd OTO) not working well though, so only OTO and 2nd OTO.
Support not so good, you have to rely on other members on the forum.
The price is $ 779-$ 1997 though. But you can find Mike Filsame's JV and get it for free, all you have to pay is shipping. For example viralurl.com

2. Memberspeed. Have tried memberspeed ( as a valued member of MM4 ).. awesome, great features. Digital Product manager feature is very cool, also ads and banner manager. JV area, reseller link for members, timed download are the features I like the most.
If you have money, memberspeed is the way to go ( just my opinion ).
Support is good.

Try it for 30 day first, install it for testing.

3. Ez Membership Script. Frank Salina claims that it is the cheap version of BM.

Note : all statements above are just personal opinion based on personal experience
