Okay, so I was at Wal-Mart earlier and picked up Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 for 40 bucks. I am so in love with DNS right now and am actually using it to create this post. I am so thankful that I have found something that will alleviate the numbness I've been getting in my fingers from typing lately. If you do a lot of article writing or writing in general I highly recommend it. |

Did you encounter any flaws when getting stuff written ( like it not recognizing common words?) I have been on the fence for getting Dragon for a while now. Seems very useful. |

skuxta, I have only really been messing around with this for the last hour or so and it totally rocks. I'm not even kidding, there are little hiccups with the writing but they can be easily fixed, at least that has been my experience so far. I'm actually using it right now. Not only will it type stuff out but you can actually tell it to click on certain links and scroll as well. Hope this helps.

I second your opinion. I also bought the software a month or so ago and actually had issues installing it on my Vista computer. After stuffing around for hours without results I switched to XP and now enjoy the program immensely. I'm still training DNS at present but it will help take off the load for a lot of my work once I'm happy with the output. One word of advice though; DNS is great for blogging, chatting, article writing as long as you KNOW the topic. It takes a while to switch the mind from writing to talking and right now I'm still way faster tying the words than speaking. I do have confidence that with time and training it will become easier and faster to use, so I'm excited. Monika |

Hey Cyberchick, yup I totally agree. I am still trying to learn how to talk instead of type. I was testing out creating an article and it did take me a bit longer than it would have to type, but my fingers and wrists were no longer aching!
