Default Global Virtual Opportunities (GVO)

Is anyone here using Global Virtual
Opportunities (GVO) and if so, what
do you think of the service?

They are claiming that near all the
most famous top marketers are with
them and indeed many of these top
internet marketing guys have a video
on their site saying how excited they
are to be using and promoting this
platform - what are your personal
thoughts about it, this service?

Billed as the next revolutionary big
step on the internet, I would have
thought that there must be some
opinion about it.

Is it worth joining in your opinion
and if so, why?

http://GoGVO.com

Thanks in advance.

Hi Mark,

I've been a GVO (earlier Kiosk) customer for about two years now, and I must say I'm very happy with their service.

Even though I once upon a time used a Mike Filsaime link to sign up for my Kiosk services, all those big names showing up in the marketing material really isn't what means that much to me today when making up my opinion about the service. It might to a lot of people, but what means something to me is the experienced quality of services delivered and the experienced quality of customer support/relations.

My impression of their services up until now;

- Very satisfactory. That isn't to say they haven't had their glitches. Doesn't every dynamic business experience some intermittent problem now and then? How they handle such things is what is important to me, and the people at GVO has been very up front with their customers when there has been a problem, absolutely not trying to hide. That's what makes you trust people.

My impression of their customer support so far;

- Very good. They have a rather responsive help desk. If you have a very urgent problem, and do feel that waiting for an answer to that help desk ticket takes too long, you can enter their 24/7 online chat room to get your live answer there or have those on chatroom duty follow up on your behalf with the help desk people. They also have an emergency pager solution in case one of your sites should be down for some reason.

My answer is; Yes

I'll make a two part answer to your why question. GVO has their services part and their business opportunity / MLM part.

1. The services part
  • You already know that I like their hosting services.
  • You already know that I like their customer support.
  • They now have developed an autoresponder that I think they have every intention of keeping on level with the great ones. For me, that haven't signed up for an autoresponder yet, this is a great addition included in the monthly price for their services.
  • They've had a separate conferencing solution for years. This solution has now been redeveloped to use flash. This means no downloads necessary to use it. A conference room with 10 seats is now included in their services. This is great for contact with small groups of potential customers and prospects. It's also great for support and educational situations.
  • In the last year or so GVO has developed an online video creation and hosting service. This is also now a part of the total solution. It includes the possibility to get the code to embed those videos on your own web pages. It also includes the possibility to have those videos embedded in a lot of premade web page templates.
  • They also give you their Downtime Witness application. This is an application for keeping track of the status of both your own sites and the sites of competitors.
  • They are stayers, having been in business for 12 years.
  • Very important; They own the physical part of their business themselves, not having to rely on others, and their pricing, for delivery of services. Their new server center is placed in Texas, in an area where they will have no problem expanding their fiber capasity as the business expands.
Of course, you could compare a total solution like this to those home sound solutions where you get the radio, the CD/DVD player, the equalizer and the tape recorder (I must be old) all included in one package. You'll always be able to put together a solution from stand alone components that outperforms the combo package.

But, even with the above taken into account, I think GVO has now come up with a total package that will overdeliver for most people.

So; A very strong Yes on the services part.

2. The business opportunity / MLM part

GVO's (then Kiosk's) MLM model for having their customers earning affiliate commissions when promoting their solutions was not my reason for signing up for their hosting solution two years ago. However, I might start promoting a little bit more for the future.

I see one of the main problems with MLM being the thousands (at least it seems that way) of opportunities out there selling more or less crappy products, just being in place to make the whole venture seem like a legitimate business. Those are the kind of opportunities where you wil have to have a mindset, not caring about whether you deceive you customers or not, to promote.

Not so with the GVO's services. This is a product you can be proud to promote, knowing that you trade in something real that can be of great value to your customer.

GVO also has in place lots of promotional material, like banners and lead generation pages. They also offer online conferences where you can bring your prospects to get more imformation on their services and opportunity.

So, if you're MLM minded; A very strong Yes on the business opportunity / MLM part too.

This became a very long post, but I didn't want to make a post that was just a copy of some promotional material. There's far too many of that type of posts.

Hope some of your questions were answered.

P.S. Almost forgot to mention an important part of the whole equation. The management at GVO are very likeable people. They communicate frequently with their customers through video blogs. This also gives their customers the possibility to offer their feedback.

You might want to search for older topics mentioning Kisok. Many people do not like them.
I gave up on them a long time ago.

They used to be Kiosk and I will admin Kiosk was not a great platform but what they have setup now looks nothing like Kiosk and their products are incredible. You really should check it out again. You can try it for a buck for 2 weeks...
