Using WishList Member & Paypal - How Do You Pay Affiliates?? Which Aff. Program is Best?

Hi Guys,

I have a Membership site using WishList Member and Wordpress. I want to start an Affiliate program.

The members pay x 4 months via Paypal. I want to pay my affiliates $30.00 per month x 4 months, or for however many months the member is still in my membership site.

What would you recommend?

I have looked at paydotcom and I have set up an account, but it is confusing to me whether or not it is possible to do what I have outlined above.

If anybody is doing something similar, or has a better suggestion than paydotcom, please advise.

Thanks!

    Hey Michelle,

I'm sure there are already people doing what you want with PDC and WishList so maybe contact their support and see if you can get a pointer. If not, since PDC has an API available, I'm sure you could outsource this to a programmer to integrate the 2 pretty cheaply.

Also, take a look at Post Affiliate Pro. It's a solid script and I believe it already has an integration module available for WishList.

    Hi Michelle,

WL Member will also work with 1SC
    or Clickbank.

I'd keep in mind that with PDC you'll
pay a fee of $3 for each transaction,
on top of normal PayPal fees,
and you'll be responsible for paying
    your affiliates - for me, that's a
    headache.

I used PDC once - after realizing I'd
paid over $1500 for affiliate tracking
    I decided 1SC was a better deal. :-o

If you have more than 40 members
then 1SC makes financial sense -
    especially when you consider everything
else it can do for you -

Or if you prefer to be truly hands-off,
but pay a little more then Clickbank
could work well for you. (I have not
used CB with a membership site, but
in a non-IM niche I use them for
individual products and find the refund
rates similar to selling through other
    avenues.)

Like Rob pointed out, I also understand
the guys at WL member have been
working to integrate PLP - and it sounds
like that might work for you.

Main point here is that each affiliate
tracking option has its pluses and
    minuses and I recommend having
clarity on how you want to manage
affiliates, pay them, etc - and know
what the real costs of doing so are.

All the best to you - X

    Hi Michele,

In case you decided to use Post Affiliate Pro as affiliate software (I saw Rob recommended it to you), we can help you with integration in case you had any troubles with it. (I'm from Quality Unit, which develops PAP4)

We have quite a lot of integration methods already and in case there is any method missing, it will be pleasure for us to document and implement it.

They are working on integration with iDevAffiliate so you might want to wait for that.

I have a WSO with warriorplus, the affiliate get paid 50% recurring commission.

        - the 1st subscriber will go to me, then 2nd subscribe go to affiliate, then 3rd subscriber go to me and so on.

for JV partner, you can use another wsopro license to do this arrangement.
