|  The *BEST* Social Network Script?
Hello Warriors, I'm looking to set up a Social Network. Something as close to Facebook as possible, are there any specific scripts you'd recommend? Thanks all  Alex |

Yeah custom code it Alex... Sorry but had to say it.. There are scripts out there but nowhere near the function of facebook and many of those scripts have some serious issues. In defense of those scripts though I will say it is not an easy job to code and build such a script. I built one for a client a few years back and it took 8 months of work but everything was custom coded and it had many of the features facebook has (minus the app creation).. Some people use that dolphin script but I have also heard some horrid stories about the script from some that have run it... James |

Thanks for the suggestion James, I must say I have heard some mixed feedback too... I'll wait for a few more responses from other Warriors before I get a coder on it, but will certainly consider it as an option. Thanks mate Alex |

hi, if your still looking for a script - social enine and dzoic are getting good rankings also. The most important thing to do before getting a script is to make a list of the things you want your site to do - then decide on whether you're going to get custom programmer or an existing script. Anyway - the top packages are listed on my site, reviewed by users. |

I have had some dealings with Booyamedia.com and the founder was previous CTO for GodTube and they have a cool platform. Socialengine with about 8 months of custom coding and video plugins.
