This is my experience with The Mini Site Formula . . .
The whole formula relies on one "fact", that "video gets huge amounts of traffic", and this "fact" does NOT work in practice. So the whole formula fails, which is a shame, because there are some useful bits of info in there. I spent hundreds of dollars, set up 6 minisites, followed the instructions and made videos very similar to the demo ones, and the traffic I get is almost nothing . . . the best site gets an average of maybe 2 visitors a day, the worst maybe 2 a month. In several months I have made zero sales and almost nothing on AdSense. The info in the course, about using WordPress and DataFeedr etc. is useful info, but the course says so strongly that video is by far the best way of getting traffic that the whole course is rendered useles by that one incorrect datum. I've got about 40 videos (for different systems other than MiniSites) now, and a few articles with EZA, and the articles are working a lot better for me than the videos, so it's a really big shame that this whole course is ruined by one incorrect "fact" . . . he even says some other ways of getting traffic, but who's going to try those when the method he raves about being "by far the best" fails to get anything useful? He quotes figures of 63,000 and 10,000 hits a month for video, I get a handfull. I am not saying he's lying, just that it does not work in practice for me. I am not stupid, I am educate beyond Masters Degree level, and am extremely successful at some things in life, I am capable of following exact instructions . . . his instructions for getting traffic from video do NOT work. I've not given up hope on modifying the system so that it actually works for me by using other traffic and back-link methods (which I have learned how to do from WF), and as I say, some of the other info in the course is useful stuff that I haven't come accross elsewhere (yet), like DataFeedr. Maybe the video method works great for people who are natural salesmen? I am really bad at persuading people to do what I want, so a guess is that the course, as it stands, might not be suitable for others who are not good at making people do whatever they want, but for someone who's a natural born salesman, and can get anyone to do anything, maybe it might work? That's my guess anyway! That's my personal experience with the MiniSiteFormula course. Chris |
