CellPhoneCash Forum Suddenly Shut Down!

A friend of mine was about to post a followup on the forum for Mac Michaels'/Maverick Money Makers (yeah right) CellPhoneCash just a little while ago...

He had posted a few times before, and based on what I've seen and what he told me, the general tenor in the forum was that of a bunch of unhappy people who felt they'd been hookwinked. My friend, a fairly experienced marketer, had spent a lot of time and around $500 on cellphone ads, following the course (such as it was) closely, and not made a dime. My understanding of the course was that it was very long on theory and very short on real examples. No case studies, no detailed walk-throughs or how-to's, no practical help at all. Further, as the course went on Mac Michaels continuously contradicted himself on what worked and what didn't, leading to enormous confusion and frustration.

Further, the much-vaunted live help was worthless: if you reached anybody, they didn't know a thing about cell phone marketing.

My friend is in the process of writing a very caustic letter to Clickbank right now, recommending they dump Mr. Michaels' and his courses (not that they will – he makes them too much money).

At any rate, my friend was just about to post again on the CellPhoneCash forum when...

Poof.

The forum vanished.

Gone.

Would it be overly cynical of me to suggest that perhaps the reason they shut it down was because everybody was disgruntled and unhappy, and Mac Michaels had no good answers for the serious, perfectly valid questions being asked?

Haha, you gotta laugh at these guys. CellPhoneCash is the biggest pile of crap I've ever seen!

I'm coming out with a small free making money from mobiles guide fairly soon that will provide more value than CPC ever did (and for free!).

Kieran, my friend is of the same opinion. He was upset and angry. Now he's furious!

Closing down the forum is, IMHO, a sure sign of cowardice. And dare I say it... a scam?

Hi Guys, I never knew there was even a forum - official forum for crap Cell Phone Cash? You mean as part of the MMM forum, which most of use never had access to?

Something needs to be done by Click Bank to get that course off Click Bank, thousands of affiliates are pushing it and it doesn't work. He is scamming people sorry to say but that is my experience with it all. I am sure you have read my many posts on this in the main thread. I have had NO support tickets answered, truely is the worst I have seen.

Also Yes I am also working on some teaching stuff the how to from my experience, and about to test a fully optimized iphone page directly connected to the CPA/Affiliate networks database. My link is below.

Keep me upto date on this, but this course and how bad it is needs to come to the light - can someone go knock on his office door with our questions and a video camera?

My understanding Danny was that it was a separate forum just for CPC members. I would guess that Mr. Michaels didn't want to "pollute" his regular forum with CPC postings. Or maybe he had a hunch it was not going to go well. Funny thing is... the CPC forum was live less than a week!

Hear-hear! And I couldn't agree with you more, sad to say. The course ended up being a joke. A very expensive one.

I would say the course was worth about what it cost (which, in the great cosmic scheme of things was not much), but for all the money that was spent on ads that didn't work!
