there is nothing to be done with these SEO software except analysis.they can be used to analyse the competitor links and nothing else.making money entirely depends on whether we take action or not.

You can try SEO Powersuite or IBP if you willing to shell out around $250 both these software gives an keyword research, link tracker, analysis, competition analysis and step by step process on getting your SEO done.

Its worth every penny you spend on them

I use traffic travis, and I've also used market samurai.

These tools are not going to make you money, but as said above, they will help you to refine your seo/ppc efforts so you can earn.

The tool itself doesn't make you money.

market samuri i can update my blogs and find keywords in seconds that will tell me if a niche is worth going into or too competitive

on the money note i have not really made that much had made money by article marketing and not seo softwere

I use market samurai, google and some custom scripts as I do SEO on local searches and some of the tools can't support local search that well.

Well ive used and am using Sheerseo, a hosted platform that gives you everything to manage and optimize your seo and also to check on your competition. I started using the free version for 90 days then i got it for $20.

This is directed at the two posters above. It sounds like to me that you are both fairly new to internet marketing and haven't actually used any SEO related software. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

SEO software generally processes tasks at exceptional speed that would take a human a very long time to return the same results. They are merely tools to aid your own efforts and common sense.

With a few clicks of your mouse you're able to retrieve all kinds of stats and information regarding the top ranking sites in a specifc niche. This is what I call thinking smart.

If you want to save doing all the time consuming manual labour yourself then I'd recommend using software. If used effectively they will certainly help you on your way to success.

In my opinion, You need an SEO software only if u handle multiple SEO campaigns.

Softwares I recommend are

1. Wordtracker - for Keyword Research
2. IBP for Analysis on Competitors-Sofware aided submission process etc.
3.SeoMoz -Link Finder (Only for Pros)-For finding websites that we can get a link
4. Rank Tracker from SeoMoz
5. Google Adwords Keywordtool-for Keyword Research

Yes, but I think you are missing the main focal point of what these pieces of software are for. It isn't to remove the 'creativity', or to automatically allow you to achieve good rankings. You still have to put your campaign into action. These tools just save a huge amount of time when evaluating the competition and finding good sites / pages in which to get relevant backlinks from. You can't deny that. Those people who choose to use some of this software will be ahead of the game, time wise, when it comes to working on their SEO. As I mentioned in my previous post, I wasn't meaning to offend, it's just that your first answer came across as being a bit naive with regards to what these tools are actually used for.

No harm done though aye :-)

Not naive - been there, tried it and wasn't impressed. I compete daily against people who use software and win. There's no substitute for the human brain, that I think we both agree on! Any software is a tool. Give a monkey a piano and he's never going to become a composer.

(no SEO software in my signature -you wouldn't have a vested interest in promoting such products would you?)

On that note I'm always prepared to be proved wrong if you are interested in me reviewing your software....

Themezoom was great for conducting market analysis and site blueprinting. Kraaken is the latest incarnation but is ridiculously expensive in my opinion.

Well, I'd still have to disagree also. I think we're gonna be going around in circles here so i'll quit :-)

Yes, I am a product creator within the SEO / IM niche but that isn't the reason I posted in here. There are loads of different types of SEO software so wasn't directly talking about anything that I'd offer.

With regards to testing one of my products, if you are interested then feel free to shoot me a pm and I'll hook you up. I am going into beta phase next week with a link building product. You can test that out if you like.

The point of the software isn't (I think) to REPLACE your intuition and research, but help you do so. There are some software pieces out there that are pretty useful in that.
