Hi Chris

Don't quite know what you mean by "launching a product on clickbank" but if by that you mean how to sell one of your own products on Clickbank, then Clickbank.com is by far the best place for that information and it's totally free, too.

Go to Clickbank.com and click on "Sell" and then you'd be invited to "Sign Up" as a VENDOR and "Get Started." There are several guides and Seller/Vendor FAQs you can read to see what you need to do, from initial sign-up to getting your product approved and active on Clickbank's Marketplace.

You're right about ClickBank being free for the affiliate program. When it comes to selling you're own product, you only have to pay a one time fee of $49 to be a VENDOR. But once you pay that, you can sell as MANY ebooks, audios, and digital products as you like. Im currently a VENDOR so this is what I went through.

For chris187:

If you are planning on making a digital product like an eBook, make sure to use PDF. The reason why you dont want to use MS-Word is the simply fact that people can easily take your finished product and modify it themselves with changing words and rephrasing some of the paragraphs, then reselling it as their own product.

PDF format, you can lock your work by setting a password where only you can modify it. This is good that way others cant copy and paste, change the txt, or add anything to your product (links etc.). Seeing that they cant copy and paste it, most people aren't going to bother rewriting out your whole product. You can even disable Print, but i've bought ebooks and I like to print them out because I travel alot, so I can simply read them in a folder and go around the house without carrying the laptop.

Now here's the simpliest way to make a product and launch it:
1) Get a hosting company, I've used bravenet.com for the longest time (since 2005), they are pricy, but im just too lazy to go anywhere else.

2)buy a domain.

3) I use a website building program called XSitePro, they are a lil pricy, but trust me, if you make a lot of eBooks and they make it up there, this program is completely worth it. You can make changes fast, add Paypal methods to it, pop-ups for opt-ins, they have built in getresponse, aweber, and like 4 other popular autoresponders in there, and like literally hundereds of great options. With them, i build a full functional 6 page site within 3 hours and it was packed with info. Also, you set it up to your hosting throught FTP, so you are able to work with your site through the desktop...very very easy.

4) Once you make your site with all the info, submit it to ClickBank. My very first time I had no clue what I was doing. If its your first time, you'll most likely get denied because you're missing something that you're supposed to have on your website. But if you do, reply back to them like I did and let them know its your first time, and that you're not sure what to do. I did this and a CB representative guided me through the whole thing up until it was accepted and launched on ClickBank.

5) Your product is launched.

** I strongly suggest that you take a look at the top products in the CB Marketplace so you get an idea how the pitch pages look. Also remember this, testimonials are a HUGE, and I mean HUGE impact on your product, the more of them, the better and more confident the customer will be in buying**

I hope I was able to help you Chris and anyone other there who might have had a similar question
