Default Traffic Geyser vs VideoBot

VideoBot about to come onto the market soon (speak preview)

What is the difference to the end user?

I will start off with a few I have noticed, please add more (Mike would love to hear your response on this).

VB helps automate account sign ups
VB uses more websites (113 sites)
VB One time fee, TG monthly
TG hosts the videos for you
TG Allows you to pre-set for 4 weeks in a row
TG posts to other places then video sites

What other differences are there?

I started using videobot a couple days ago and it seems the Bot is doing his thing

Got some backlinks already, especially to the first video uploaded.

I love Videobot cause it's a one time payment, FREE upgrades for life, IT WORKS as advertised and it helps my rankings.

Never used TG so can't tell much about it, sorry.

113 sites. However, some of those will need to be edited out depending on the niche or the videos will be rejected.

as far as I understand videobot uploads from your computer to each and every site while with TG you upload once and it does the rest itself.

I bought videobot last week and the one off fee and free updates sold it for me.. Traffic geiser is very good but you have to decide if the power is what you actually need.

VB will do it just it's a bit more manual.. which works good for me..

Even if this is the case, it's worth it for the automatic account creation alone. That's the time saver which is what these bots do best. If any of those accounts are supported by a service such as Pixelpipe, you could easily add the accounts there.

I haven't been able to get the automatic account creation to work in VideoBot.

I get an error message for every site telling me to manually create them instead.

Have any of you had similar problems?

You need to go in and create the profile first in order for it to work.

Update: Around 2 or 3 I started a video to test VideoBot our, it is still running (9 hours later)...

Yes, I know. I have created both a company profile and also an account profile.

However, upon trying to sign up I get a, "Error: Try Manual Sign Up" message.

The last time I tried it, about 5 sites worked and the rest gave me that message.

Strange 90%++ worked for me.

Possible brainstorming suggestions:
- username and password length, symbols, entered it both times in profile
- fields all filled in
- Change username (since may be trying to override your last try or something like that)
- Check you are choose the right account
- maybe delete and recreate profile account

Hope it works out for you

Just curious, did you download the user manual....it talks about that error on page 22. Not sure if that will help your situation or not.

Hey mate,

Yeah, I've read it. It says that the error I receive is usually due to the site changing something with their signing up process, however, I highly doubt every site has changed something with their sign up process.

I've emailed Diego about it so we'll see what happens.

Hopefully I can get it sorted soon because it looks like a great piece of software!

this program is pretty good but I would not recommend buying it until some of the necessities are ironed out. First of all yes it does support 100+ sites. The problem is only 5 are premium sites going to get you traffic. And half of them will not time out and not work for you unless you go to manual mode.

Here is the upgrades needed to make this program a gem:

1)Getting the video url where its posted. (so it can be bookmarked)
2)Timeout feature to keep the few premium sites from holding up the program 10 hours
3)Periodically check email for new activation links (currently does this 1 time and thats it, if that email does come before it checks. Guess who gets to manually do it)
4)Ability to add your own sites and defining fields via semi-automatic mode
5)Many more premium sites and some more open source scripts for types of sites
6)Ability to add your own fields and values to make #4 easier.
7)Add scheduling ability
8)Allow multiple accounts at each site and rotate through them

These sites need to be added:
VideoJug
Break
Ebaums World
StupidVideos
Sclipo
Howcast
5min
graspr
i2tv
grindtv
streetfireGet these items added/fixed you have the perfect program

.

Anyone know if VideoBot returns the URL of each posted video? That's a critical component, so you can bookmark each video.

Traffic Geyser or HeySpread - anything server based is better. It's no fun waiting for a script to upload from your pc to 20 video sites...

Hello

Personally i love Traffic Geyser. I have been using it since it has launched.

Dont no much about video bot but the reason i like Traffic Geyser so much is the simplicity of the system.

All i have to do is push a button and wala

Hope this helps

I use to be a member of TG and I currently own VideoBot. Big Mike's programs are awesome. Here's my take...

If you are heavily into video production and uploading high numbers of video, you really can't beat TG. However, if you're only doing average submissions to video sites, I don't recommend TG unless you have money to burn. The monthly price is high for average use.

Now, some people may go crazy on me, but in my experience and opinion, I don't find TG or the use of video as powerful as it was when TG was the BIG game in town. YES, video is still extremely effective, I'm not crying video is dead people. But I simply haven't found the need for TG anymore and can rank everything I need using TuebMogul which I will comment on here.

These days, I find TubeMogul perfectly fine and effective for all my video needs. You get the top dog video sites which is really the important factor.

So, for videobot. It's a nice program, the auto sign up is great. However, the less than ideal situation is that the majority of the sites within videobot are rather crappy. I still view them as a link resource which is why I bought the program. I saw that a lot of them are running off the same script/platform and are really crappy, worthless sites. But again, it's another link resource and I like having a very diversified linking strategy.

I think it's worth getting because you can easily submit your videos and let it run creating you more links. But I don't recommend videobot as your primary video submission/linking program.

My suggestion is using Tubemogul for the top video sites, then following up with videobot.

Use TG if you're working with a lot of video heavily.

No problem Tabitha! I've been using TubeMogul for at least well over a year. I should have gone to it sooner than I did but in all honesty, my use of video is average probably in comparison to a lot of other marketers.

I'm particular in my use of video. I use it for niches that it is ideal for, then others I won't. I'll use it for both being a source of funneling traffic and also simply for good back links, all depends on my projects really.

But in my opinion, tubemogul is great for most uses and does the job without shelling out money which I think is important for most people, especially beginners.

Nothing on the market can really be compared to Traffic Geyser. It's just the best in my opinion.

Traffic geyser even has a video transcription tool to send it to article directories. It's just the best.

Best Regards,

Supposedly there's been a "new update" coming for Videobot since May...no info yet...

I think when it comes to "automated" solutions, you need monthly fees so that the product creators have a reason / funds to constantly keep updating their code with the latest changes...a one off payment for $15 (or whatever it is non-sale) really won't cut it IMO...

Traffic Geyser
I've used TG pretty much since it opened and have found them to be pretty good, they add to their services often. I use it for myself and a number of clients and have found it more than enough for what I am doing.

TubeMogul
I've also used TM for quite some time too, but they seem to hate internet marketers, as I have had several accounts closed cause they thought my vids were spam (animoto video). But with some clients (fishing instruction vids) I have had massive success with, since they post to the major sites.

Pixelpipe
Just started on pixelpipe several months ago, but posting to dailymotion does not get all of the details, so you have to enter them in manually.

VideoBot
I was looking at purchasing this the other day so I'll let you know how it goes

I am not disagreeing with you at all but just as an FYI. I am going to make two assumptions from the context of your posting. One that your videos are for marketing and selling a product or service, and two you are using the free version of Tube Mogul.

I just logged into my old tubemogul account and found that same message. Huge bummer. I'm not about to pay $50/month for this service. There has to be an alternative out there... I'll look into videobot..
