I'm not a big fan of all the "guru's".

But this really caught my eye.

...no doubt John has been successful so just wondering if anyone picked this up and how it is.

I think its kind of if you are committed to take action than only think about it .The majority people has the problem is that they buy the product and it just remian in their hard disk of the computer just use 2-3 times ,so if you are the person who really wants to use the product than go ahed or else don' t waste your time .

Please talk about the PRODUCT, not about John Reese.

I have not bought the product, but two of the videos in the first unit were free to view on Johns blog.
I thought the content was excellent, personally it helped me a lot. Also it seems unrealistic to ask for a balanced and thorough review when the product has only just been released.

I think Money Mindset is John Reese's way of tapping into the secondary market serving those people who know they want to succeed at IM but have some personal barriers to overcome to make it a success.

You could argue that it begs the question of 'how to succeed at IM'. But, apparently, JR has overcome his own personal obstacles and is now a lot richer than most, so who am I to argue?

If you need to sort your head out about the challenges of running an online business then $97 seems a small price to pay.

@Nick - I more so wanted to know if the content was good or just sloppily thrown together. I didn't mean if anyone has had any "break throughs" because of it.

I didn't know he gave away two vids on his blog though - thanks!

@ Sarah - Yeah, it's a great price as long as it's as good as it seems.

      Has anyone done this course?

Just had an email saying module 1 is free.

I will probably take a look at it in the next day or two.

I spent the last two weeks going through this course. It is quite good. The course has about 40 short videos covering motivation, work habits, goals and improving your business.

He has some good tips and ideas. It isn't a ton of content but useful. It feels like he has taken some great self help books and made the information directly applicable to Internet Marketing. Lots of tips on how to improve your results and get more done. Especially things that make you money.

There are a bunch of exercises for you to print out and go through. Plus the audios of the videos are downloadable.

This is something that you will want to go over regularly to keep it fresh in your mind.

I like the course if you can swing the $97 I think you will get your moneys worth. This is a great product for someone who has gotten in a rut. Or can't seem to get projects finished.
          ie. procrastinators like me

Why did I buy it? Because I got to the point where I knew what to do but just wasn't doing the work. I had to force myself to sit down and write 10 blog posts or articles or social bookmark 10 links. I got too lazy and watched as my sales dropped and stats took a dive. Well it is 2010 and I have to get back to work and back on track.

If this course gets me back on track, I bet it will make me a lot more than $97.

I give it two thumbs up so far.

This is the secret to success. Most people are chasing the next shiny object, but most of the time we already know what to do that will bring us success.. it's the motivation to do it that we actually need. Once I realized this and got enough "mindset" exercise in daily, I was able to accelerate my success. Many times it's the mundane things we don't feel like doing that we need to do daily to make it happen. Thanks for your honest review! I'm always looking for things like this to keep my motivation in shape.

Is it really any different from the type of product that Gary Vurnum has been selling for years?

Wow, old thread! I'm guessing that Money Mindset was the last product that JR launched before his most recent one called "GERU".

Frankly, I'm a little surprised that he continues to randomly launch products. If memory is serving me correctly, he had Traffic Secrets (huge launch, widely praised). After that, he hinted at a major testing software that he never launched. I think he had the Reese Report that launched, faded, and then relaunched again (almost positive that one is gone). He launched Traffic Secrets 2.0, but I think that while it sold well, it was kind of underwhelming. Then after that, Outsource Force, Money Mindset, and Geru all seem to be about the same caliber.
