For starters, Bookmarking Demon only works for PC's. I got it on my PC and couldn't figure it out. I'm not too techie, so I found it confusing. I tried to read the manual and got even more confused.

I use onlywire. It's simple and only takes a couple minutes, whereas Bookmarking Demon takes about 30 minutes.

Glad I found this thread. Aside from bookmarking my money sites, I also want to boost my articles in the SERPS. BMD is a bit pricey that's why I'm going to wait for SocialBot's sale.

I've used BMD before (July 09) but I returned it because I didn't know how to use it properly back then.

BMD gets better and better with each release, it is now completely in no-browser mode, can solve captchas for complete automation, and can submit to hundreds of websites if you spend some time harvesting URL's. My copy can submit to over 700 different social bookmarking sites (compared to the ~100 or so socialbot has)

It lets you spin your title and description, randomize how many social bookmarking sites each page gets submitted to in an attempt to not create a link footprint for google to follow, and also submit random pages from an RSS feed(s) in order to blend them into your social bookmarking portfolio to minimize the amount of accounts you get terminated due to self promotion.

It also keeps track of all social bookmarking profile url's and then will ping all the pages afterwards in order to get search engine spiders to the newly made links fast, so they are indexed. (which would take you hours if not days if you wanted to go through 700 social bookmarking websites and copy down each new URL with the newly submitted links on them, and then ping them one by one)

I love incansoft and big mike products, but if you can afford BMD, it is worth the money and much more advanced than socialbot -- but if you are on budget socialbot will do just fine.

like both Social bot and socialbookmarking demon these two are incredible but SMD is costly and Social bot is cheaper but in my opinion Social bot is best

I own both, so as you can see above I listed tons of advantages BMD has over socialbot. There is nothing social bot can do that BMD can not, but BMD can do tons of things SB can not do.

Plus all extra features aside, BMD is faster in general.

I totally understand if you are on a budget, but the difference is day and night.

Onlywire is free and not too shabby.

Actually, SocialBot can also submit to unlimited sites if you harvest them and plug them into it. It also does not use "Browsers" to accomplish submission.

SocialBot is getting a major overhaul this month, which includes a lot of what's mentioned here.

One point of clarification - unless I'm mistaken, BMD cannot solve CAPTCHAS - it uses a human CAPTCHA solving service, right? This is coming to all the Incansoft Bots in February

I am also using socialmarker.com and onlywire.com both sites are able to increase my website traffic =) I do no see the needs to purchase any social media marketing software at the moment.
