Default Anyone heard/used internetbs.net for domain names??

Hi Everyone,

I found this site to register domain names w/free privacy and wanted to check and see if anyone has used them before...

Site is: internetbs.net

I am kinda skeptical since the pricing is somewhat low and the odd domain extension to the site, but I think I'll try it with a new domain and transfer another and see how it goes.

Any input will help!

I've been a new user with them and they seem to be good. Got about 10 new domains registered with them now...

You know, if you go through godaddy, and you purchase 5 domains in one shot you can get free privacy on all of them.

Although, the second year is no longer "free."

Is this site you are looking at free for life, or just a year?

It's good for people who are afraid the US government will take their domain since it's offshore.

I've used them. They are in the Bahamas. Good quick service. Cost of a .COM is not cheap at around $10-$15 but that does include Free Private WHOIS.

Probably good for those engaged in more, shall we say {b}{l}{a}{c}{k}{h}{a}{t}
activities

What does this mean? Are you saying the US Gov can take possession of your domain names?

yes we offer it for free and for life!

...and because we are based on the Commonwealth of The Bahamas we do not disclose your personal details as an US based Registrar would do after a simple subpoena order.

I've used Reseller Club (used to be Directi) for years, but as my domains come up for renewal, I've been transferring them to Internet.bs. I like the prices (no need to look for codes) and the service.

I just ordered from Internetbs. I like the idea of them being offshore.

I would never use anything but a recognizable, major registrar for registering domains. Can be a real pain if the registrar fails.

Ive heard with them, but so far have always stuck with one of the big players, just for security reasons.

Default Internet.bs has a new policy for pharmacy domains

Hi all, I did not see this posted yet so here is some big news from Internet.bs:

Domain name registration FAQ - Domain Name Registrar Internet.bs Corp. Introduces First Transparent Pharmacy Domain Policy to Address Potential Consumers' Health Risks.

Basically if you are on this list you are screwed unless you get verified by one of the 4 other verification programs out there:

Not Recommended Sites - National Association of Boards of Pharmacy® (NABP®)

I wonder how often and how abusive they will become now that Internet.bs is granting the NABP all this power of shutting down any pharmacy site it wants simply by positing it to that list. I am sure LegitScript is going to attempt to manipulate the heck out of it. At least its not an American organization that is corrupt.

I recommend that you transfer your domains to: http://www.cndomainsite.com/ ASAP since they are bullet proof and they are based in China, they also offer free whois protection.
