What's the best free video editor software?

I really need to edit some videos for marketing, and i cannot find a good editor. anyone use any good free editors?

You can download Sony Vegas and use it free for 30 days or
so. After that, you'll have to register it. It's first-rate software
though and you can get it for less than $30 if you shop around.

depends on what you need, but windows movie maker is pretty OK.

I'm with Loren, Sony Vegas Movie Studio is as robust an editor as you will ever need and can be had for a song. I haven't seen it sold for under $30 but if you find a special be sure and share it with everyone.

I've done some training videos teaching people how to edit using Vegas Movie Studio. They are found at the website Flixify.com It is a membership website but any WF member that would like access to the entire series of videos for free, just send me a PM and I'll hook you up.

I also have some experience with Windows Move Maker so if you have questions about using that I would be happy to answer them and help you get up and editing quickly.
