I don't know what Info Product killer is and what is your level of internet marketing experience.
if you're a newbie, then definitely go for Google Sniper.

  • I have both (at least the WSO from Google Sniper)

Both are about making mini sites targeting low competition keywords. While IPK focusses on selling physical products, GS is about selling info products. Both kinds of products need another approach, so how to design your pages is one of the differences between both products.

I bought IPK first and started a few websites. IPK states that a website should be ready in 2 hours. I need about a whole week for one. Nevertheless I have a few websites making me money for months and I have earned back the investment in IPK several times.

You can pay for a service for quick installing of new websites and for a price comparison. I never tried both so I cannot give a judgement about them.

I bought GS as a WSO but haven´t tried it yet. Since it´s also about making mini sites and I was already busy with IPK I really had no time.

Which one is better? I wouldn´t know. The keyword selection process of both is somehow similar. At least with regard to numbers of visitors and competiton. For physical products one needs of course different keywords than for info products. Both claim you can rank on the first page with a minimum of backlinks. However I needed quite a lot for my IPK sites. I think the same will happen with GS.

Which one to choose depends on what you want to sell. Physical or info products.

Well, I'd recommend Google Sniper. I've used the system and made quite some money.

Have you been successful using the exact process as set out in the ebook or did you find you had to do some tweaking to get the results you've had so far?

I've tried IPK and didnt like it. In my view, it is SE spam to simply throw up sites with meaningless and duplicate content. Although IPK says to rewrite your content, they also encourage you to rely on what you can copy and paste from Amazon, etc.

If you've ever seen an IPK site, most are junk -- 3-4 pages of fluff to fill a page which is focused on a simple low competion KW. It's another twist on the strategy of 'throw as many quick sites against the wall and see which ones stick'.

never heard of IPK, but I am a google sniper customer and I would recommend it. the thing about ranking well without backlinks with the google sniper course really depends on how well you do your keyword research. I've ranked top ten but I haven't had any sales (off of one mini site I set up). According to keyword blueprint, the keyword I ranked for is a non buying keyword. In other words people are looking for info not to buy a product =/

anyways I do recommend it it's pretty noobie friendly and straight forward

Getting sandboxed with IPK and similar kinds of sites is hit and miss. Remember, IPK advocates scraping content from Amazon and other manufacturer sites and uses a lot of fluff to fill a few pages. If you were Google, what you do with an IPK site ? I havent bought Sniper, so I cant speak to that, but I suspect it is similar

But overall, I just dont see these as a viable long-term business model.YOu might make some quick money if you get lucky with a few sites, but unless your content really has some value, it is nothing more than SE spam. So roll your dice if have the urge.

If you want to make minisites, build some real content in 8-15 pages, then add a couple backlinks. It's really not any more work, and you'll have something that will last.

  • You don´t have to use duplicate content from Amazon for IPK sites. The manual even states that unique content is best. I haven´t made any site with duplicate content. The reason why it takes me quite long to make a site.

IPK of Google Sniper are, in my opinion, just some names to market the ancient model of making mini sites. If you know the overal concept of minisites, Keyword in the url, not too competitive keywords and so on, you don´t have to buy either one of them.

I agree. You dont HAVE to use the duplicate content, and yes the IPK guys do "say" you should use unique content. However, the 'saying' part is easy - everyone says that. But the core IDEA is to fill up a few pages as quicklly as possible, follow a few SEO guidelines, add an Amazon banner and some comparative shopping buttons, then move on. These are what I call 'thow away' sites. I see a few people making some money, but I see many many more talking about how they don't.

If you want to check out the kind of sites being built by IPK, you can do a Google search for the following in quyotes: "The site owners are committed to protecting your privacy".

  • Yes, it´s ugly. And yes, at least a lot of them are throw away sites. IPK is meant for making a lot of sites and cash in on Christmas.

May be I had a different look on IPK from the beginning. I read about IPK and the OnPage SEO Method, and that´s why I actually did buy IPK. I didn´t even read the whole sales page I believe. Looking at IPK from this angle (for me this was what IPK is about) I did not follow their path and did not made lots of throw away pages. I didn´t even make the typical IPK sites. Somehow I did not succeed in getting that typical look. (I don´t use their template, but XSitePro)

Well, the OnPage Seo method did work, not always, but that´s probably because I used more difficult keywords with every new site.

If you want to make money quick, at least as quick as possible, you can start earning money in 2 weeks. From the moment I submit a new site to Google´s webmaster tools it takes about 1,5-2 weeks before the site appears in the search results. If you did choose the right keyword and you are high on page 1, you will make money quick. Making and maintainig lots of succesful sites and making lots of money is of course a little bit more difficult.

I bought the WSO of Google Sniper (the first one, only the ebook) Since I was already making mini sites with the IPK OnPage Seo method and the overal idea behind GS is not so much different, I just went on with what I did. GS will probably also work in, more or less, the same manner.

So what to buy: Google Sniper or IPK. If you want to make mini sites, what is best guide in doing so? I personally would prefer IPK because I like the idea of selling physical products more than selling Clickbank books. Others may disagree but I think thats were the real money is. The largest affiliates sell physical products. Like large price comparison sites for instance. With physical products there are always related products and one can add a few new pages to the site and expand one´s business. With ebooks you always have to make a new one and start from nothing all over again.

I bought IPK too, but not for the SEO. I know SEP very well, and there is nothing new in their SEO suggestions. I was more interested to see if they could produce sites quickly, that still had some decent content and appearance. But I had to ask for a refund. If only they would've provided a decent looking template, it would've been better. Plus, Im graphics illiterate, and all the effort to make those gaudy amazon banners and buttons was too much for me

Don't get me wrong. You dont need a beautiful site to make money. I have a plain ugly site selling physical product, and it makes me $500-$1,000 per month. But I know if I'd just take the time to make it decent looking, it would do better.

Im still tempted to get GS, just to see if he has anything new.

They're both pretty good products. Google sniper focuses on clickbank whereas info product killer focuses Amazon. I'd say if you're a newbie to checkout g sniper first and then move onto ipk. IPK is great for Christmas time marketing but obviously because it's only 1 week till Christmas now it's too late to get started.

But overall I'd recommend Google Sniper over IPK because I know it works and I've made money with the system.
