Hi, Everybody seems to be happy with AWeber but as I've heard good things about Imnica Mail, I'd like to know if they compare well. It would be my first autoresponder service that I buy, and therefore the cheaper price of IM sounds more attractive, but maybe not as proven as AW? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated, thanks. |

I can't give a review about Imnica Mail, because I never used them, but I use AWeber and I'm very happy with them. Their service and support are great, so I would recommend you to sign up with AWeber.

I never even used a autoresponder before, but i heard one person tell me: why waste money when you can do it for free with a autoresponder "software". Any truth too this ? And how would that work by "do it yourself" ? |

You can use a free autoresponder script such as phplist.com, but here are a few problems with that: 1. If you use shared hosting, many hosting providers will limit the number of emails you can send. 2. If your IP gets blacklisted, your emails will go to spam. Hosted autoresponder companies such as AWeber, take care of everything, email sending, whitelisting their IP's etc. So I would suggest to get a hosted solution such as AWeber, GetResponse, etc. instead of hosting the autoresponder script yourself. |

yes, there is so many autoresponder software out there but what change my mind is when i join ewen chia newsletter i found that he use getresponse to build his list, after that i know he sell CHEAP AUTORESPONDER service name Mosterrespond only $19,99 to host host unlimited number of subscribers. It keep me wondering why ewen chia use getrespond while he have mosterrespond? so for me, don't go after the cheaper one. cause if we build our list and have a great relationship with our list, they are worth more then just a monthly payment for autoresponder service. the best autoresponder was AWEBER dan GETRESPONSE from my review. so choose wisely. - andrian |

All the AutoResponders mentioned offers some form of trial. Why not signup to all of them on the trial, and decide which features AND deliverability suits your needs best. Regurgitating the same old x is better because is everyone is using it is just utter nonsense! Do your research, take the trials, and make an INFORMED decision based on YOUR needs! |

Thanks for the quick and useful responses and reviews, Warriors, you're great! I followed up on your suggestions and think all of them could work depending on the business (mailchimp looks very professional) and skills set (free autoresponder script). I've decided to try out both AWeber and ImnicaMail, as suggested by Richelo Killian, which is something I hadn't thought of doing. Di |

I am going to put in a positive word for Imnica. I am new to IM and am using Imnica for my autoresponder. I bought it through a WSO special offer they were running. If they are not still offering it PM me and I will give you my affiliate link and some kind of bonus that will make it worthwhile. There are some problems with it: 1) It doesn't work on IE8 2) The Knowledge base is sparce That being said if you have any queries Richelo is amazing at getting back to you pretty quickly, despite being based in a cave eating pizza and coke whilst working on the next version. (which will work on IE8). I haven't used AWeber or Get Response but I know these are the two most popular services out there and I can't afford Infusion Soft which is generally regarded as the best, but I am very happy with Imnica and am excitedly waiting for the next version which looks like it will be even better. If you want to get in at an early stage of what will be a very powerful autoresponder and in my opinion is definitely already in the top 4 (Aweber, Get Response, Infusionsoft, Imnica) and get locked in at a low price then Imnica is definitely for you. |

Aweber is 98% great, (although it's a bit pricey ) but I have to mention two annoying details:1/ You can only get an "unsuscribe alert" if the person leaves a comment. ![]() So you cannot keep track of unsubscribes automatically. This is annoying in some cases... (It forces you to check your subscribers often). 2/ Their built-in newsletter editor needs to be improved (each time i use it, i get at least 2 or 3 bugs when editing, and sometimes it doesn't save properly). Also, the templates are not satisfying... ugly and complex (from a coding point of view) |

aWeber just got hacked a few days ago.. some may lose their email lists they have spent so much time building... be sure to back up your subscribers list regularly. I guess when you becomes so big.. it attracts hackers

I've used Aweber before. And it's a nice system for sure. I also tried iContact for a good 6 months or so. BUT I now use Imnica Mail. It does what I need, and it does it more competitively-priced than most any others I've seen. Also, I can vouch for their support. It's excellent, as mentioned above - Richelo responds in double-quick time to help. If you're in the market for such a service then give them a try. Their trial offer makes this painless. |

Yup, i am more excited with Imnica Mail than with Aweber or Getresponse at the moment. With the new version of Imnica Mail on the horizon, it looks like Aweber and Getresponse will have a serious competitor in the near future. James |

Imnicamail is cheap as chips and they take paypal! Although it doesn't look as beautiful as aweber, who cares? As long as its stores your leads and sends out messages when you want, this is what matters right? Seriously now 10,000 leads for only $10.50 or $19 for 500 with aweber? Sign up when you get a chance. |

I have to agree with Michael, I was a bit daughted by aweber not having that much money to spend iminca was brilliant for me. The customer service is 10 out of 10 even if your on the $9 a month deal. there are video to guide you through how to use it. Very simple to use. In my opinion its a growing company and if your lucky enough to sign up now you will get the best deal, best once imnica is more established they will probably raise there price. I started my very first list on imnica and im very happy with there service. |

Definitely not worth it! Been there done that. It's always much better to use a paid autoresponder service instead of hosting a solution yourself. Paid services such as iContact, Getresponse and Aweber have established relationships with the ISP's, which will ensure higher deliverability rates. In my experience, most "bigger" AR services such as iContact, AWeber & Getresponse, have great support and quite similar pricing. Out of the top 3 I do recommend iContact as they simply produce better delivery and higher open rates. Cheers, Reno X | |

I have used aweber, and yes its pretty but for me its over priced. I use imnica mail and to get straight to the point, it just flat out works! it does everthing i need it to do. It may not be as pretty as aweber but then im more for getting the job done than looking around saying, 'hey that looks nice'. Imnica mail is an up and coming competitor for the big boys to look out for and im glad im in at the begining. |

I'm using Imnica Mail taking advantage of the WSO offer. Compared to Aweber the price is much, much better and the delivery is pretty good. PRO: + price + easy interface + no double optin option + you can ask support to import your previous list (you must give the IP for each contact) without asking your readers to optin again - Aweber request each one to option a second time again... CON - tracking and analytics are not so cool as in Aweber - if you add an autoresponder message, it will be available only for new subscribers... who's already in the list will not trigger it I think that Imnica Mail is a startup or a new service, they are very aggressive on price and they know to have less features than big players, but.. I would give it a try. You can signup for a year subscription with 2 months trial at a very low price. Take a look at they wso offer here. Regards, Valerio Some bad sides are |

There are a heck of a lot of Autoresponders around, But we keep hearing about Aweber... Could it be that because they've been around for a long time, and because the people whose lists you're on have been grandfathered in at their old pricing, and because they offer a good commission level - that many people recommend them without even having tried any others??? If that sounds cynical it's because it is! Having been online for around 10 years now, I've seen people come in here with 8 weeks online experience and always quote XYZ is the best! ... How do they know?, How many have they tried? Yes the brand leader is good - but others also are! I've used Aweber, Getresponse and until I was hacked and my sites crippled - I did have my own service... I know just how much work is involved in runnig an autoresponder, (and all the reasons why you shouldn't host your own for free!) I've also spoken at length with Richello at Imnica when trying to find somewhere to send my previous customners to after my site was lost. The net result is that I moved all my lists to Imnica and now recommend them to my readers. I'm very happy with Richello's service! (I wasn't unhappy with Aweber - but I prefer to keep the extra cash in my pocket thanks, and as for all the analytics - they're great when you have a list of 10's of thousands.. But let's get real - would you really split test and send out multiple messages to your list of a few hundred, and honestly think the results were accurate enough to gauge some real opinions from??) As Richello has said - give a few a try if you're not sure! Personally - I'll be sticking with Imnica for the forseeable future ![]() Randy |

I vote for imnica. I found it pretty easy to use although I have no real list but they have great tutorials and for the price, I don't think you can beat it. I posted the link to the wso for someone a while ago but you can find it if it's still on here by just doing a search for imnica mail |

For me it's ImnicaMail all the way. I almost signed up for Aweber and even took a good look at GetResponse, then I saw the ImnicaMail wso. I'm glad that I took advantage of it and would highly recommend their service. Plus, if you have any problems, it's like Richelo is in the next room. The response is that quick and personal. Just my 2 cents.

I have tried Aweber, GetResponse and now I'm using ImnicaMail. Deliverability: They are all about the same. Price: ImnicaMail is the best. If you're just starting to build a list and feel that it will be some time before your list grows big, I would recommend to start with ImnicaMail because there's no point paying heavily for just a few subscribers. When you have grown your list to a substantial size and you feel you need more features that are not offered by ImnicaMail, you can always move your list over to Aweber or some other service quite easily. I have been meaning to give feedback to everyone since I originally asked for Warrior advice in this regard. And alextsui beat me to what I was going to say - he covered it all in his post - thanks! Yes, so I stuck with ImnicaMail, as for a new list builder their deliverability, features, price and personal support emails were of a high enough quality to convince me. I liked the nicer interface and newbie-friendly push button system of aWeber better but not enough to pay much more p.m. After some practicing and forwarding my autoresponder messages to my own email to have a look at them, got the hang of it pretty soon. As far as advanced features are concerned, I haven't needed more than what's offered at ImnicaMail, so cannot comment on that at this stage. I am happy with ImnicaMail and would definitely recommend them. Quote:

Aweber is probably the best autoresponder. It works so well and it doesnt seem to have the limiting features of many other systems!
