    stearing clear.

Very powerful tool, if used correctly.

If you just try to auto-spam all of your own pages to as many bookmarking sites as possible, you'll probably not see any benefit at all. However, if you take the time to set everything up properly and use the many randomization features BMD offers, you can get a lot of value out of it.

I had to invest quite a few hours in setting everything up, but now that's done, it really delivers.

I used to like it bit since it went to version 5 it's buggy as hell and just keeps crashing on me. Also the captchas an absolute ball ache to fill in. You've got to sit there and literally baby sit it while it's running.

The straw what broke the camals back for me tho was when I updated to the latest version of 5. I updated it, then realised I'd lost all my bookmarking accounts.

    ...I gave up after that.

I'm having no problems with it, thankfully.
Version 5.1.2 is stable for me on Vista 32bit. The Captchas can be solved automatically by Visualaid (costs something like 1$ for 1000 captchas). I haven't tried that feature yet, however.

Not trying to promote BMD here, but just thought I'd post this to let you know that the problems described are probably not universal.

I just bought it yesterday and writing a detailed report on my experience here: http://www.warriorforum.com/internet...on-review.html
I'm hoping that this program is all it's cracked up to be but can't tell yet as there hasn't been enough time invested yet. Check my post for updates daily.

Wrote my opinion of BMD in another thread, so here is me quoting myself. LOL

BMD allows both the bookmarking of sites as well as pinging them (the created profiles or any other page you add).

BMD has implemented a RSS camouflage setting where you can specify rss feeds whose posts will be bookmarked to randomize your own submissions. However, As Christian mentioned you could use this feature to automatically bookmark your RSS feed items to.

BMD also has a nice scheduler that allows you to schedule bookmarking's over a certain time and run it in the background.

BookMarking Demon (BMD) just released an update to 5.1.x (Nov 28,2009)

PS: BMD however, does not allow you to create RSS feeds & and does not support some of the bigger social bookmarking sites.

All three - BMS, SocialBot& RSSBot and SeNuke have their own niches. In my opinion, SENuke is only wort the money if you already are earning a big time affiliate income publishing (niche sites) OR are a SEO company and want a fully automated one-stop software.

If you are a SEO company however, we suggest you look into UBot and create your own apps and do not rely on a third party vendor.

Addition: You might also want to look into BookmarkWiz . It's creator is currently running a special here on the Warrior Forum. However, as of today, we did not test the software.
BMD was updated twice since the original post, still going strong.

BMD is pretty good except for the time involved typing in captchas

You can always get a decaptcha account and pay the $4/1000 captchas (BMD price)

I've been using Book Marking Demon for quite awhile and it works great. The latest updates seem to have fixed the problems from the upgrade to 5.0

I bought Bookmark Demon one year back and I used of some time and frustrated and I deleted the software from my computer. I dont think it work well. It is Singapore based software. I think submiting manually to few high ranked bookmark sites is much better if it takes sometime from our end.

Is that paid of free? I hate captcha solving on other peoples feeds. If I remember correctly BMD allows you to insert other feeds to make bookmarking look more natural or less spammy.

If it is autosolve captcha solution the software would be worth it. If it is a paid solution where you have to pay x dollars per so many captchas it is not worth it; social bookmarking does not bring as much value nowadays as other linking solutions.

Nobody has an autosolve CAPTCHA system because one doesn't exist. All of these various programs use services that use humans to solve them for you, which is why there is a fee.

I do not know if SENuke includes that as part of their membership fee, but the company they use for CAPTCHA solving contacted me recently.

Great software works very well. I would recommend SEONuke for a software with more functionality.

I would advise you to just outsource your social bookmarking. Do your homework and someone who social bookmarks the right way, and just pay them $4 - $10 to submit your URLs. The problem I have with BMD is that you have to baby sit the thing in order to fill-in the CAPTCHA. I had something like 2,500 queued submissions two weeks ago and it literally took an entire week (3-4 hours /day) to fill in the captcha codes. Not worth it. I sat through and did it because I had outsourced the content creation and wanted to at least use it once being I went through the trouble of paying for new accounts.

At the end of the day, whatever you do online to make money you need to be able to scale it. So when you're systemitizing this part of your process, you should have an outsourcer handle social bookmarks not BMD as it is a bit tedious. Otherwise, it's a great program.

BMD uses the Decaptcher service. I think the going rate there is $1 per 1000 captchas solved.

One option is to just submit to all sites that don't require captcha and manually submit to one big player like Digg.

I loaded a ton of free proxies into BMD and had it check through all of them. Most weren't working anymore, but I was still left wit a few hundred working, free proxies.

However, the proxies are only necessary if you use BMD as a spamming tool.
I don't even use the proxies I have loaded (it's quicker without them) and none of my accounts have been closed.
