Hi everyone, I need a recommendation for a professional grade helpdesk / customer support solution. I have been using TrellisDesk and while it's good, the integration with Joomla and aMember is less than perfect and I miss some more advanced features too. I have been considering Kayako for a while. But are there any reasonable alternatives? I need the script to be installed on my own server so no hosted solution and I want an owned license. Also, it would be great if the helpdesk system had an iPhone version too. I know Kayako has a Windows Mobile addon but nothing for iPhone I believe, although I may be wrong. Any suggestions are welcome! Tomas |

OS Ticket looks acceptable but I am not sure I want to use yet another open source application. After all, Trellis is very good but I simply need a more "Pro" solution. Tomas |

I use HelpSpot and like it. I have it installed on my own server and it's been rock-solid for me so far.

A cheaper solution to Kayako is possibly ticket desk pro. It doesn't integrate with iphone, but you can install it on your server. You can install it on any website you own. And with a little tweaking you can make it look unique to match your own site i.e. header and footer graphics etc. |

We migrated from Kayako to Vision Helpdesk - it has economical costing, starts from $9.99 per mon and also it has advance features like no other helpdesk software offers that is its Satellite Helpdesk feature. It allows you to manage support for multiple companies at one place, also it integrates with WHMCS to offer several modules. We highly recommend Vision Helpdesk. |

Have you thought of a Joomla component like Billets [I use billets for my customer support], its good and integrated within Joomla, you can also get an I phone integration into Joomla
