I am wondering if keyword elite is the best piece of software out there that does what it does. I haven't even heard of a product like it out there. And is it worth its price?

I've never used Keyword Elite, but I really like Micro Niche Finder and it's quite a bit cheaper too. Carol |

I don't think it is the best, non any other software can claim so. All software have different features, some are stronger than others competitor. See what the features that the software offer, compare with a few competitor out there. Then decide if it is suitable for you. The "best" software might not be the one you need. |

Keyword Elite 2 is coming out. This version will totally blow all the current keyword research softwares in the market away. Brad Callen dare to make such a claim in this forum which he seldom do so, this goes to show that this new Keyword Elite 2 must be a top notch software. Let's just pray and hope that he don't charge again for those Keyword Elite 1 users. Right Brad? =) James |

I liked Keyword Elite very much - it got me started in keyword research. The learning curve's not too difficult and in a short time I was able to make much more sense of the other tools out there. It really depends on what you need the software to do. There's a lot of really useful software for free at tools.seobook.com Anyone know of a simple Adwords counter for different locations? Austin. |

I've done well with the free wordtracker, google keyword tool and services like spyfu. See if you can make good use of those before you invest in a keyword tool.

Keyword Elite is the bomb. I'll be creating some videos for you guys to learn how to use it, PROPERLY, and how to find those High Paying Keywords. Guess what else? How to use PPC Adwords as well. I'll be beta testing KE 2.0 nearer it's time, depending of course if I have the time. I'm currently doing Brad's SEO Elite Video Trading series at the minute that comes with heaps of BONUS SEO Videos on top. |

Keyword Elite 1 is Ok, but the new Market Samurai in my opinion is better. But don't buy it until it gets out of beta, wait for all the modules to be functional and you will blown away. No monthly fees too. Value for money. |

There are only 3 major search statistics sources, Google, WordTracker, and Keyword Discovery. So Keyword Elite 2 will probably get its data from one or more of the above. I've used KE1 for a year now and have just became a WordTracker annual member. The Problem with KE1 is you're never sure you're getting precise data, because if you read the Keyword Elite forum, you'll read a lot of posts that says the WordTrackerFree data KE uses is not at all the same as the paid WordTracker data. And you risk getting banned from Google if you try to retrieve the keyword data too fast from Google. Plus, it always took too long to get the data because the need to set the search engine courtesy to a high enough level to not get banned. So in the back of my mind I'd always wondered the accuracy of the data retrieved because Google may have stopped sending me data to ban me or the data difference between WTFree and WTPaid. KE 2 will probably solve this problem by getting data from Google including the search stats and storing it on their central server so there's no need to wait for the data. But based on my original statement in the beginning of the post, KE 2 is probably a web 2.0 wrapper app around WordTracker, Google, and Keyword Discovery. I wondered if I should wait for the KE 2 release since Brad Callen said he was releasing it in mid September. But I can't wait with the need to do keyword research so I just ended up paying for WordTracker and haven't looked back since. Those who can afford to wait for KE 2, go ahead and I hope its much better than WordTracker. |

Well, a lot of people pay subscriptions for Word Tracker, and Keyword Discovery... I can tell you this, it's going to be a lot better than those two put together and CHEAPER! Oh, did I say a LOT faster too! ![]() Quote:

Hey guys, I haven't told a sole about this URL yet, so please keep this as "hush hush" as you can for now. We still need to do a bit of tweaking to the data and formatting, as well as speed, but this is our free version of our new keyword research tool that will be available to anyone: Brad Callen's Free Keyword Tool Again, Please keep in mind that the free tool isn't actually 100% ready to be released yet, but I wanted to let you guys know so you could play around with it a bit. Thanks Brad, I have just checked out the free keyword tool. It gives the number of searches per month and the competing websites. You can even drill down to the number of keywords the competing websites are using and the list of them! This will surely be a great tool when completed. The paid version must be excellent. I hope there are no added cost implications for those who are already your customers. Thank you again .

I have used KE and it's a good tool and has a lot functionality. Comapred with wordtracker I think maybe wordtracker for my uses might be a little better. I can import the wordtracker results into another software to create a better database from the initial results. But Jon Leger just released his new keyword tool and it looks very good and easy to use. It does a lot of the same things I am doing by hand now in one click - a big time saver. See the link (affiliate of course) in my sig file - there's a video showing how it works on the sales page. Chuck |

Well if you see this software it will do pretty much nothing for you. It is very expensive also. yes it does make some process little easier like creating keyword with exact phrase etc and you can add or delete words in keyword group. Most of the thing google adword has it too and its free.

| Have used KE in the past. It is reasonably good, only problem is it is one of the slowest software around. If you have $$ should try Wordtracker Paid membership. |

Keyword Elite is a GREAT program, but it's definitely not worth $176. That is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overpriced. Bum Marketers will find zero use for this tool, as it's mainly geared for PPC.

Nowadays I'll allways start my research with Micro Niche Finder, because it's quick and easy to filter results and get LSI words, not to mention the practical filing of all your keywordlists. Then when I want to know a bit more about some words, I will use Keyword Elite, for instance to see the ads that are running and to have a good look of the competition. They are both great programs and should be used in combination. So I don't find KE the best or superior to other programs. Far tooooo slow! But it IS unique and very good. |

I believe that Keyword Elite Version 2.0 is a one-time payment, NOT a monthly recurring payment like Affiliate Elite? I was told that by Brad or his customer support team. |

I have keyword elite for 2 years, but I seldom really use it: 1. Too slow. 2. The search count is "too relative" and not accurate. 3. Buggy feel to me. But Brad Callen did a good job in the training, many video in fact... However, I found that micro niche finder fulfill my needs and love it. Nevertheless, keyword elite and other keyword tools is there to help you collect information and brainstorming; Show you the market opportunity and help you to pursuit the market with low competition long tail keywords. Use them wisely, combine with forum research and other methods to find more useful keywords to target! The most important part is how to build back links and rank for those keywords, or compete in PPC for those keywords. Pay more attention to buying keywords, keyword elite won't tell you that but you should really just focus on buying keywords first. |

I'm confused here. Is KE 2.0 a one time payment software on a subscription based keyword search tool? I use Keyword Research Pro which I really like, its really fast compared to KE 1.0.

I have used KE for years and I must say it's good, but not great. I can't say I'm sure it's worth the hefty pricetag, but it definitely has it's uses. I bought Market Samurai the first chance I got after going through the 30 day challenge. It's still in beta, so a bunch of the modules are still missing, but it is fantastic! It seems to do everything KE does, but much cheaper, and more importantly much faster! It's also a lot easier to use than KE. KE is clunky and you really need a tutorial. It's not something you can just jump into. On the other hand, if you're a newbie you won't understand the abbreviations in Market Samurai, and there is no built in help function. However, watching Ed Dale's videos on it will teach you all you need to know. That's my two cents. |

I'm 99.9999% sure that Keyword Elite version 2.0 is a one- time payment because Brad or somebody on his support team told me so. They have a good video tutorial on how to use Keyword Elite properly. I don't know if you allowed to post link here so the url is : Keyword Elite Software | Keyword Research Tool by Brad Callen |

Hey guys, 1. KE 2.0 will be a one time payment. I considered making it web-based and charging monthly, but after more thought went into it, we're leaving it a desktop application and keeping it a 1 time fee. Not recurring like many others are going to these days. 2. KE 2.0 will be much faster. We re-wrote over half of the code with the sole purpose of increasing speed. Speed's the name of the game :-) 3. 2 entirely new project types have been added and are things that nobody's seen before. Things I considered making into new software programs, but decided they fit well with Keyword Elite, so we'll be putting them directly into KE 2.0. 4. Does anyone have any suggestions etc? Brad |

A special feature of MicroNicheFinder that I find very useful which is not in the current version of KE (yes, I know it has R/S) is the Strength of Competition (SOC) feature, which identifies keywords where the highly ranked web pages are not highly optimized for SEO. This is a huge aid for Bum Marketing. Also, the current version of KE bottoms out very quickly. That is, it fails to return ANY searches for about 1/3 - 1/2 of the least searched for keywords that have been listed. It would also be helpful to be able to import a keyword list into Project 1 without having to first specify any other keyword. Ivan | |

Brad, An extra point that occurred to me is that using the SOC on automatic in MicroNicheFinder often results in a short-term ban by Google for excessive use. The access time for the search using Google data seems to be too short. After about 20 retrieves of SOC ratings, Google says 'no more' and then suspends access for a couple of hours, which is a pain and disruptive. I get around this by obtaining the SOC rating manually - pressing the 'retrieve SOC' button for each keyword selected and waiting 20 seconds between searches. This obviously is slow but it doesn't cause a ban. Too rapid access isn't acceptable to big 'G'. Less than 10 secs seems to trigger denial. A random access of 10-20 seconds seems to be OK. I usually wait 20 secs to be safe. Doing it manually is time-consuming and means nothing else can be done. If the timer for automatic retrieval is set for a longer period, the user would be free to attend to other tasks. Ivan |

Hi all, I've been a KWE user for over a year and recently it has stopped logging into Adwords for many of its uses. Support tells me there is nothing that can be done and just use it for keyword discovery. That pretty much takes its usefulness away. What a waste. I hesitate to pony up for KWE 2.0 Just my 2.0 cent worth. |

I have the Keyword Elite software and do use it from time to time, but to be honest I usually just use the free Google tool for quick research.
